We ordered enough food for five people. The lamb shank and lamb chops were great. I didn't fully like the vegetarian options. Forgot to take pictures of the main course and appetizers. Though the desserts were awesome except for the gulap jamun.

Stopped in at about 5, before it got busy. Sat at the bar. I had a three course meal and it was maybe the most delicious meal I’ve ever had. Remarkably delicious with excellent service and relaxed atmosphere.

This is a big scale Indian restaurant so expect the price to be on the higher end.

We had gotten the Tasting menu and some Biriyani.

Almost all the items on the menu were phenomenal. Especially the Palak Chat, Butter chicken and Dal Makhani.

The food was very good, as good as in any restaurant, especially as each and every one of the items was good compared to some places with only one or two good items.

The staff and service was exceptional.

The experience was good and I would recommend trying the tasting menu at least once to get the full experience of the place.

The price might put off some people.

This is one of the two worst butter chickens I’ve ever had. How is this place famous?

Excellent place and owner. Their new policy to restrict kids under 8 is a blessing for people who want a nice meal without entitled parents letting their brats run wild. Sadly, while not all parents are like this, enough have behaved this way to make this rule a necessity. Food is delicious and I support the ownership listening to its customers and keeping its staff safe!

Overall a great experience. Attentive staff and large portions. I had the lamb biryani and the naan was excellent. You also need to try the fried spinach salad. This was a recommendation from the team at the Hyatt Place.

We landed in Washington DC at 11:30 am and were super ravenous. Checked in at Hilton and discovered this Indian restaurant with 4.5 stars about 400 ft from our hotel.
We were pleasantly surprised to see a classy Indian restaurant as Indian restaurants known for curries and good food but not for their ambience. Being an Indian I think I can say that:).
The palak chaat was amazing and I think I am going to come back for that. Champaran Gosht was good but not excellent. The restaurant was packed on a weekday lunch hours so the staff was not super friendly, let’s just say they were polite.

We couldn't eat here because if you are with a kid you need reservation. They had space to sit. I would suggest the management to put it on the website that kids are not allowed. This will save a lot of time and frustration for parents.

Indian bald server needs to learn how to work in service industry. Will never come back and will advice people the same.

The food was fantastic! The Palak Chaat was pretty flavorful and refreshing. Service wise, I was very impressed. We were in a bit of a rush, and they got everything to us quite quickly. Our waiter was terrific, with great recommendations. Highly recommend this spot if you are looking for upscale Indian food.
