Great food freshly prepared!! The portions are large and shareable. Excellent service (prepared something not on the written menu).

One of the best examples of Indian food I've had in a long time at a VERY reasonable price! Love this place for take away!

A heavy hand with cilantro and no other tastable spices in the chicken curry, combined with a heavy pool of grease on top of the curry sauce that rendered the dish inedible. Rice was dry and cold despite the fresh pipping hot curry dumped on top. Will not order again. Shop itself was very small but clean.

Looove this cafe. It is the most nondescript location, along Wisconsin Ave. This cafe mostly caters takeouts, pickups and delivery (Amazon, uber eats....). So seating is very limited. Think of it as an executive apt in DC. Kitchen is small. Therefore, never judge the book by its cover. I ordered the chicken briyani. It was delicious. Definitely a hidden gem. Thank you for the lovely food. Just the way I like it.

The place is the definition of a Hole in the wall. Very small menu and low prices but the food is outstanding. I would definitely recommend.

Very friendly service in intimate indoor seating. The butter chicken tho is only reheated which is fine for its price but once I had an old batch and made me question the whole human race existence. Generous rice portion for eating in tho

Absolutely loved it. As an Indian myself I can tell you that the taste is authentic. Small place but food is tasty. I ordered chicken tikka masala and I got a big smile by the portion i got.

Ordered food around 8pm via grub hub. Hours say they are open until midnight, but we found out they were closed when we ordered over an hour after we paid.

If you want chicken biryani takeout, this is a good option. They don't have much on the menu (see picture for menu on wall), not good for vegans. I wanted dal, but after I ordered, I was told that the dal was bad and to choose something else. There was nothing else vegan on offer. Also, the yelp menu shows items that they didn't have, like salads and rolls. Seating inside accommodates 4 people. No outside seating.

I came into this place because I thought it was like a coffee shop because the only thing I could see was Cafe in the title. I had to do a phone interview and needed a quiet place to do this and chose this quaint little place. Lucky for me, it was around 3:30 in the afternoon so I was the only one inside. I was pleasantly surprised to come to this place and have a great meal. I wanted to order the lamb sandwich but then I didn't want the actual bread and I asked them to provide a substitute of vegetables. Once my food was delivered to me, it was full of a great huge salad with cucumbers, tomatoes etc. The lamb was very tender and I was in heaven. I didn't eat any carbs and had to pat myself on the back for that. So, if you're ever in the area, stop by and enjoy this quaint little place.

After a rousing experience at Escape Room Live! we were starving so my friends and I went in search of some dinner around 8:30pm. Indian/Thai was on the brain, so we searched yelp and decided on Red Toque. We missed the restaurant a few times because it's front is pretty nondescript. Once we found the place we were slightly confused because it did not look like a traditional restaurant. There were 6 people in our party and we struggled to sit in the small restaurant/kitchen space. Because it was pretty cold, sitting outside was definitely not an option. The chef kindly took our orders and began working. We could watch him cook everything in the tiny kitchen maybe 15 feet from where we were sitting. We ordered almost everything on the menu: samosas, goat curry, chicken biriyani, lamb biriyani and butter chicken. We were served huge portions of rice and once we saw the entrees we knew we made the right choice. All of the meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender. The combination of spices in the goat curry was particularly delectable. The portion sizes were on the larger size, but it made for phenomenal leftovers the next day. The samosas were crispy on the outside and flaky and tender on the inside. Not one person in my group left dissatisfied. The chef/owner was extremely nice and helpful. It was a really unique experience. If you are ever in the area and want some fantastic Indian/Lebanese cuisine, check out this place!

I ordered from here via twenty tables and I have to say I am SO IMPRESSED. The food is AMAZING, they give you a TON of it and the service was awesome. Definitely making this one of my regular lunch spots from now on.

I went here for lunch one time during my break. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the portion I received was definitely worth the price. While its not fine dining by any means the man at the counter was very friendly and corrected an error that was made without hesitation. Very understanding. A good quick meal.
