My and my girlfriend go here all the time. Tiny little hole in the wall spot but is absolutely delicious. Great pasta and the servers are always super nice. I would highly recommend coming here anytime.

The salad was amazing, the pasta was delicious, and the cannoli was really good! It’s a cute place everyone should visit.

RWB is a great price and idea but poor execution. The staff is phenomenal, but the food really really falls short. It is quite quite bland-- the Alfredo, the pesto, the red sauce. They all are pretty tasteless. The only saving grace is some amazing garlic bread, as mentioned by other reviews. Unfortunately, if you're in the mood for Italian, there are just too many amazing places in DC that while yes are pricier, are much much better.

The atmosphere and food are both lovely, and the staff is super chill. Also, best Manhattan I've had in a while. Highly recommend.

Despicable experience. The only thing they sell is bad attitude. The Prixe Fixe portions are a joke, after charging you SIX DOLLARS extra for chicken in a dish so tiny. There's barely any sauce on the pasta, but that's only compensated by the staff's attitude as if they're doing you a favor.

I had high hopes for this place. I looked at the menu online and was drawn to their create your own pasta option. The interior of the restaurant looked cozy and quaint as well. I went around 6:30 on a Friday night and immediately the 1st impression was poor. As soon as I walked in I smelt an overwhelming cleaning product smell. Not what I want to smell in a restaurant, an Italian restaurant. The place was empty. The server, while attentive, didn't look clean or professional. The reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is the quality of food. The pasta, came to our table in a matter of minutes and it tasted like canned Ragu. I got bolangese sauce and it was disgusting. Do not come here if you're expecting Italian food. This tastes like a frozen TV dinner.

We had the most amazing time at Red White and Basil!! We had a small wedding reception here and celebrated our partnership with close friends and family. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and perfect for an intimate feel. We had almost all their appetizers - the cheese plate, salad, garlic bread, caprese... and they were all AMAZING. Everyone was so happy with what they chose for dinner - their pasta is so fresh and delicious, and all the drinks were so good too! We especially enjoyed their moscal mule and the rose wine! I could not recommend this place enough! It is perfect for a special event, or a date night. I had been here to celebrate my birthday many times beforehand, and was so happy to get to celebrate our wedding night here!! The manager, owner, and servers could not be nicer people!!!

Came in on a quiet Thursday evening, it's such a cute little place and very friendly staff. Actually my experience would've just been average but they made it amazing! The shrimp scampi (recommended by my server) was delightful, as was the cheesecake (also recommended by my server). I want to fly back to DC just to come back here. Please if you're in the mood for Italian and thinking about stopping by DO IT.

I went here with my husband and a friend before an event on a Friday evening. It was 7:30pm and the restaurant had maybe 2 other tables with customers. We sat down, expecting that we'd have a relatively quick meal, since it wasn't busy...but alas. It was a dinner that took over an hour and a half to get three pasta dishes. We asked on our food a few times, always to be told that it would be a few more minutes. We didn't order anything not already on the menu, so it seemed as if they forgot continually to put in our orders. The food was fine, but it doesn't take over an hour to cook pasta and sauce. The restaurant started to get busy after we had already ordered, so we were confused on the whole thing. No one came to refill our water or check on us at all. Disappointing to say the least.

Very tasty and Nice food! The environment is so Nice, and the people working there is so polite and gives you the right direction for taking the best choice if you don't really know how to start. The wine is so good too, I ordered two diferent and they where so good too, really tasty and totally fit with the pasta that I take. 5+ stars
