If you want to eat in a parking lot. Be my guest. Food is meh! Couldn't understand the waiter because he was an illegal alien. There are so many other good places. We tried something different.....big mistake. But like I said if you want to eat in a parking lot and a dark place with political owners .... Here's your place. Oh and just an FYI if it's dark, you usually don't see how dirty it is. Its an old restaurant trick.

Service was absolutely horrible. Most of the menu comes anything you could buy from restaurant depot. Dark and dirty. There are better, less political restaurants in the area. The illegal wait staff will probably spit in your food if they find out you're a Republican.

Fantastic experience! All of the food was perfectly prepared, service was excellent, and ambience was great. Easily the best fried chicken I've ever had. Would absolutely return.

I had the Arancini, gnocchi sardi, and olive oil cake and they were all fantastic. And while I came for food, I will say the two things I'll remember the most were 1. The fact you gave postcard with the receipt as a souvenir and one less thing I'd have to buy on my trip and 2. The service was amazing. I forget what her name is now, but my waitress came over and cleaned off the table of the two or three crumbs of truffle I had and got me new silverware for the second course. I can't think of any other restaurant I've been to where I've had service that attentive before.

Every single time I’m in DC I have to come here. Chef Mari has made such great changes to this menu and I can’t wait until I come back. 10000/10 recommend

One of the best Italian spots in town—delicious food without the hassle of long waits or crowded tables. The servers are attentive and genuinely friendly, and the wine selection is excellent.

Bill jensen is one of the best sommeliers in the city. He's so passionate about his craft. And he owns the restaurant but is always on the floor. The staff is amazing and welcoming and knowledgeable. And the pasta is some of the best in the world.

Yum yum yum, and, shockingly good deal for the 3 course menu! Service was friendly and kind. Everything was delicious! Great mocktail menu! The amazing garlic knots should really be called like a garlic knot donut because garlic knot gives TJ Fridays energy and these were MAGICAL!

It was only my first time at the restaurant. The service was very good and friendly. My group had different opinions on food. One thought his appetizer was dripping in dressing while my entree Sicilian fried chicken was more reminiscent of General Tao's Chicken than anything I ate in Sicily. Everyone enjoyed their desserts. Wine was good but really overpriced. I know its an item that is always marked up but it's less than $20 at my liquor store in Cleveland Park. I would give it another shot but definitely get a dining room table as the table tops are murder on your back and detract from the meal.

Service is excellent, attentive and genuine. Our water glasses were always full without us asking. Our server, surprised us with two complimentary drinks because he said the main course took longer than usual after we finished our appetizer, but we didn't really notice it, it was a very nice gesture. All three of us enjoyed the food, from appetizer to dessert. Large plate food's portion is huge, even my son has left overs on his plate. I also like that the change up the menu, though I missed the pork chop from our last visit. It's a neighborhood gem for sure.

The food and service has been great every time I go, but they went above and beyond when we went to celebrate a friend’s engagement. The restaurant knew exactly what we were celebrating and did such a great job giving complimentary service for the occasion. Cannot recommend enough!
