Great happy hour and nice mix of Thai food and sushi options. Also a store downstairs you can get grab-and-go lunches around $11-15 and buy Asian staples like curry paste, lemongrass, Soju, and poke/sushi dishes or by the pound.

Rice is one of our go-to spots in D.C. The drunken noodles are packed with flavor, the steamer buns are soft and satisfying, and the crispy wings hit every time. It’s a great option whether you’re dining in with family or grabbing takeout. Consistently solid food and service.

So nice. Kind staff, good food, fun drinks, and good vibes. We had dinner in the patio, and most everyone who passed by said to their friends “this place is great/underrated” totally agree. The shop downstairs is cool too. 5/5

As much as I’d love to keep this place a secret because it’s so good I can’t help how much I like Rice. My go tos are their pad see ewe and pad Thai. You also can’t go wrong with their crab rangoons, papaya salad and spring rolls as an appetizer. If you get takeout they’re reliable and speedy. The downstairs market is also excellent, especially if you need very specific sauces for Asian dishes or a last minute bottle of wine.

Lovely spot for a casual dinner with lots of flavour. Went with my picky 7yo, and he loved the dumplings, edamame and all the grated carrot off the top of our dishes.
Red snapper and duck were great!!
Larb slightly dry and not much spice.
Tom Yum was refreshing.
The tables were a bit packed in though, so if you're after quiet and intimate, not for you.
Attentive service without feeling rushed.

The food is generally good. I feel as if they have downed the flavor to fit the clientele. The only thing I really miss is Thai iced coffee. Bring that onto the menu and we will come more often.

The market underneath rice restaurant is super cute! The restaurant upstairs is the perfect spot to stop in for a casual meal. Get some comforting soup, or jusy comfort food in general!

Appetizers werefl flavorless. Entree tasted like sugar and rubbery chicken. Service was…not good. I’d never come here again

Delicious food and my favorite restaurant in DC. I recommend brussels sprouts and cashew chicken. Their margaritas are not bad as well

Spicy duck was incredible. They don’t want you lingering after you’re done, but hey, they got bills to pay.

People with allergies or other dietary restrictions beware! I ordered the papaya pad thai, which was marked vegan. However, it came with bits of egg. Also, their vegan garden roll was served completely cold and hard, as if it was premade and straight from the refrigerator. Overall, I do not recommend.
After 10-15 minutes sitting at the bar waiving for the bartender and waitress, I literally had to ask if we need to pay extra for service.
