2/5 times I was there, no one was present to assist. I try to stick around for some time but no one comes out! So I ended up buying from other places. I saw a couple other people doing the same.

A build-a-bowl shop with rice or noodles in the L'enfant food court. Ask for extra sauce! Their flavors are perhaps a bit more bland than "Asian standard."
Vegetarian options: Great tofu or veggie options, but stored in the same case as the meat.
