Great little bar and outdoor seating spot. Right proper has the best IPA... Raised by wolves is incredible. Excited to try their limited pilsner run which I heard was fantastic and sold out now!

Let's give this one five stars. Went to the other Right Proper, and this one here feels a tad more out of the way, even though it's right here in DC. That leads to quieter vibes being on a less-traveled road. Indoor and outdoor patio seating. They had a sticker.

Classic industrial-chique vibe. Great selections. Friendly staff and calm atmosphere. The business treats its employees well and builds tips and wages into their prices. No hidden fees for you and sustainable wages for their hardworking crew!

Welcoming of everyone, families included! Parking may be the only area of challenge if they’re busy.

They also have cider and wine options for friends who like to party, but prefer something other than well-made craft beer.

Their flagship pale ale “Raised by Wolves” has a clean and fruity nose, a mild floral taste with pleasant bitter hop after-notes, finishing with an easy clean, dry and crackery flavor.

Their spring seasonal “Senate Bock” has a sweet and malty nose with flavorful toasty toffee and bitter palate. The toasted and sweet notes linger well after the finish.

Their spring seasonal “Häxan” is a well-balanced porter that isn’t too sweet or roasted. For its ABV, it is not syrupy or overpowering. It is exactly what you want out of a classic dry porter—velvety chocolate and coffee notes with a sweet and lovely dark toasty finish.

Their staple “Big Tomorrow” is a classic west coast IPA without the high resin bitterness that happens after over-boiling the mash bill. It has a unique cherry-apple nose with an amazing citrus-fruity palate. A long lasting finish keeps you satisfied until your next sip. Interestingly, as you continue to sip the finish becomes drier, making you ready for the next pour.

Zeke’s Coffee and Local beer - Winner. Great patio and play area for kids, quiet off the Main Street, coffee, pastries excellent going back for beer when the taps open at noon. Great murals inside, very cozy.

The place is cashless. This is a government town, of course. Be warned to bring a credit card or phone tap. The Czech beer is good.

This rustic brewery is a great spot for beer lovers! Their flagship beers are fantastic—well-crafted, flavorful, and worth coming back for. The cozy, rustic vibe adds to the charm, though space is pretty limited, especially during busy times. Still, the quality of the beer and the friendly atmosphere make it a spot you’ll want to visit again. Perfect for a quick drink or a casual hangout with friends!

This brewery was awesome. Enjoyed the IPA on tap and the vibe. Extremely cozy and warm upon entry. Lots of space for a party if you wanted to have one and everything seemed to be very well organized. They also have a coffee shop inside as well, so for those who don’t drink you have an option. I would highly recommend this on your visit to Washington DC

Diabolical murals and great beer in the very best neighborhood in all of the District. Couldn’t ask for more!
