I LOVE this brewery! I visited here in 2022 and tried multiple beers they were all yummy. Love the atmosphere here. Extremely fast service. Lots of merch. Probably still one of my favorites that I've visited even to now honestly. I didn't get a chance to try any of the food here but their beers are great!

We were very excited to visit the brewery of our new favorite beer - Senate. Unfortunately the service did not live up to the beer. We came with our out of town friends for lunch. When we arrived we were sat at a table that had yet to be set, then waited for about 10 minutes with empty cups before water arrived. Note: there were probably only 4 other tables at this time. In the time waiting for water we were ready to order our beer and food. The food came out very fast, and was delicious!! However our beer was not delivered until after we had all finished our meals - maybe 30-40 minutes later - and we had to remind our wait staff. It really sucks because we brought our out of town friends to this place since we loved the Senate beer so much, but we asked for the check as soon as the beer came out because the vibes were off.

We hosted our wedding at Right Proper this fall and they were great for work with. Taylor, the events manager, was incredibly responsive to all our requests and emails. Everyone at Right Proper was helpful and accommodating of our needs. The wedding went off smoothly, the food and drinks were great. Everyone commented to us about how good the food was. They also were willing to help out with decor and A/V, really going above and beyond our expectations. Cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for a space to host a private event.

Food and beer were greet, service not so much. When the shift changed at 5pm, the service was great, but prior to that it couldn’t have been worse. We waited 25 minutes for our first beer and roughly 20 for our second.
Very cool place in a sketchy neighborhood. But...They sat me at the edge of the bar, near the door, and slow-rolled the service. I don't think "old guy" is the clientele they wanted. Service just can't be that bad on accident.I came in to check out a new place, have some dinner, and enjoy a couple beers. I had one beer and left. Very disappointing because it was a very cool atmosphere.

Ordered for delivery after a long day the Mac and cheese was creamy with perfect pepper seasoning. The chicken sandwich was a tiny bit dry, but that could be because it was cooling during delivery.

Place was nice enough, but we did it specifically as part of a tour of DC's breweries, and the beer just didn't stack up against the rest. Choice was quite limited and a few of the choices, which seemed to be core lines were only in bottles. Then the bottles we had were nothing particularly special.We didn't try the food, so can't comment on that, but it was busy enough on a weekday evening, so I assume it's a decent enough bar.

We are picky about our beer, picky about our food, and picky about our cheese, and Right Proper Brewing did not disappoint on any of those fronts!We were initially worried by how "light" most of their beer was and that it wouldn't have much flavor, but WOW were our assumptions proven wrong! The Senate beer was as phenomenally complex as its backstory, the cheese plate was incredibly curated by one of the managers, Kess, and of superb quality (you've GOT to get the Midnight Moon!), the autumn kale salad was only made better by the addition of crusted tofu--though it was a smidge heavy on the cheese, and the chicken sandwich was wonderfully well-spiced. We came Walt to come back on our next trip to DCVegetarian options: There was even a vegetarian cheese! (without rennet). Autumn kale salad was AMAZING

More of a trendy themed brewery, visited for a hour or so, beer was good. DJ was playing some tracks. Food was pretty good. It was quiet when we visited, had plenty of seats mid afternoon on Saturday. Staff were attentive. There were some smaller children with their parents so seems to be pretty kid friendly.Worth a trip if in the area to try some jars.
