This is a terrific Northern Italian restaurant. The number of choices on the menu are a litttle fewer than I have seen at other places, but the quality is superb.
Excellent experience all the way around. The food was delicious and service, A++. Our waiter, Brian knew the menu by heart and guided us to choose a spectacular meal courtesy truffle season, currently on display. Truly excellent wine pairing courtesy Manager, John. It ain't cheap but as an old restaurant hag, I can tell you this is definitely a place to have a special meal - especially now during Truffle season. thank you, Tosca.
The food was fine, but overpriced. There was nothing really memorable about the meal. I think you can get much better value elsewhere. The service was very good, but the atmosphere was a bit pretentious. Everything was fine, but it's not great value so we will not be coming back.
First class dining experience. The service was impeccable and the food was terrific. A wonderful dining experience all around.
From start to finish, our experience at Tosca was exceptional. The staff was extremely professional and clearly worked well together to ensure every guest was taken care of. Our waiter was knowledgeable about both the menu and the restaurant's history, and his recommendations were spot-on, it was clear he had been there a while or knew the place inside and out. Dinner was fantastic, from the drinks to the main course. The appetizers were perfect for sharing or pairing with a half portion of pasta for a lighter meal. Every dish was prompt, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Overall, Tosca delivered an outstanding dining experience, great food, attentive service, and a team that clearly takes pride in what they do. Highly recommend.
House made pasta dishes were excellent. They had options for my husband who is also Gluten sensitive. Service was excellent. Food was unmatched! Love the ambience. We had a wonderful quiet dinner.
Amazing experience with them! Staff members are very attentive. Food is top notch, especially bronzino
We enjoyed ourselves but the food was pretty average for a fancy Italian Restaurant. The service was good and the host welcoming. The only bread they offer is a focaccia bite that was not tasty at all. The pasta was good but it could have been more al dente. The fish was salty and the portions were small. The place can use a bit of an upgrade on the food. Otherwise, it was a fine experience.
Upon our first visit to Tosca, we were very impressed. The service was superb, from the initial greeting of the maitre d to the pleasant and attentive wait staff. The ambience of the dining room was very enjoyable, with background music playing at a comfortable level so conversation was easy. Even the restrooms did not disappoint, being beautifully decorated, private, and clean. The food service was well paced, and all the dishes were well prepared and delicious. We were very happy with the paparadelle pasta and the swordfish special. Both were excellent, as were the accompanying wine selections, arugula salad, focaccia, gelato, and coffee. We will definitely return in the future for another excellent dining experience.
The regular menu is always good and the restaurant has specials each evening which adds even more choices. Food is well prepared, flavorful, beautifully presented. The service is outstanding. The waiter and team work hard to make sure you get what you want and have what you need. A delightful experience for special occasions or just a dinner out.

We went for my birthday dinner. Great service and food. They also provided a free snacking dessert for my birthday. Yummy!
We found this place on OpenTable when we decided to make a last minute change. We had no idea what to expect. It was delightful!
We really loved TOSCA. The food showed a lot of imagination and was very well prepared. The service was fantastic. Just the right level of attentiveness. Definitely planning to go back.

Truly cannot say enough about Ristorante Tosca - it’s an absolute perfect experience every time. I’m not sure whether to rave about the service, the presentation of each dish, the quality of each ingredient, or the attention to detail in everything.
Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable, was aware of everything taking place at the table, asked how we would like our appetizers split up and even suggested the best way for us to go about it. Things were being taken off the table as soon as we were done, but it was done discreetly. Cutlery was being replaced without us noticing. Crumbs wiped off the table before we realized they were even there.
The food is second to none. Everything is very carefully curated, and each ingredient tastes like the best version of it. The star of the show was the veal - incredibly tender, juicy, and very flavorful. We got a side of the potatoes that were under salted but that’s just me nit picking.
We capped off our dinner w their tiramisu and it was probably the best desert I’ve ever had. Perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness, creamy but still had enough texture.
One of the best dining experiences in the DMV that still in my opinion is a bit under the radar for what it is. 10 out of 10.
Marvelous meal with impeccable service during Restaurant Week: 2 scallops each served on its half shell surrounded by a flavorful medley of fresh corn and more, veal entree served medium rare with an outstanding sauce, dessert of zabaglione with a large number of fresh strawberries. And since wines by the glass were pricey and they offered several half bottles, I opted for a half bottle of Pinot Grigio for a few dollars more, and could enjoy the wine throughout the meal.
