The ABOSOLUTE WORST Tacos in DC. Nasty as hell. Better off getting Chipotle.
Closed almost two hours early
I Just went there, and just so happened to glance over and see the lady handling my my burrito with no gloves on, and when she seen me, she decided to put some gloves on. I proceeded to ask for the manager and everybody ignored me.

tldr: adding tips to bills after you leave, food is mid, and atmosphere is very club like.
My friend and I visited after a show at Howard Theatre. It was a block down and showed as “tapas/ small plates,” so we thought the vibe would be chill and sophisticated, but when we got there we could hear the music and got carded by a bouncer who was telling us we needed to go take shots as first timers (lol). We went upstairs, definitely club vibes. We sat down and our waiter was kind but we were circled a few times by him and another gentlemen asking if we were ready to order drinks and food— we were talking so we were not. We mentioned we’d let him know more than once. The place was about 35% full on a Thursday evening so we didn’t appreciate the pressure. They probably came by 4-5x. We ordered some tacos, hers to go and my taco (the shrimp pineapple one) had hard pineapple rinds in it, a slightly incorrect menu description, and had two small pieces of shrimp in it. It was over $6 which was shocking for what I got. I only ordered one. I paid my $6.85 bill, and then the next day I noticed an extra $5 charge on my card that I had to get disputed with my bank, which they did immediately, luckily I kept my receipt. Someone added a $5 tip to my bill. I can’t be sure, but I think they expect everyone to be drunk and not aware of these charges, and that’s *shady* business. We won’t be returning or recommending.

Everytime I come here from the Cute Nice hostess That dresses so cute but hyper aware of her surroundings, clean and busy tables and so accommodating. Two the mangers and owners who EVERYTIME IM HERE I SEE THEM BUSTING THERE BUTTS OFF HELPING BARTENDERS AND SERVER! Bartender Vi came from behind the bar to help my two year old calm her nerves with the cutest non alcoholic mocktails so my girls felt so heard and seen! This place is everything and more with more heart and soul than most Restaurants! And THE MUSIC IS FIRE EVERYTIME! Thank you for making this mom’s day 100% better! Never did I ever think in a million years I would have this experience here!

Ordered the birra tacos. Food was good just the price didn't match. Three small tacos for $21 and I'm still hungry. Flavor was great, service was great. Probably won't return, not worth the price.

If you’re looking for bold flavors and a lively atmosphere, Rito Loco is the spot! The food here is simply amazing—everything from the burritos to the tacos is packed with fresh ingredients and seasoned to perfection. Their menu offers a creative twist on traditional Mexican cuisine, and you can tell the chefs put a lot of care into every dish. The portions are generous, and the balance of flavors is spot-on.
As for the atmosphere, it’s just as vibrant as the food! The space has a fun, laid-back vibe with colorful decor and upbeat music. Whether you’re sitting indoors or enjoying the outdoor patio, the energy is welcoming and relaxed, making it a perfect place to grab a bite with friends or unwind after a long day.
Highly recommend Rito Loco for anyone craving delicious food and a great time!

Ordered a shrimp burrito, and it only had shrimp shredded cheese and Pico. Nothing extravagant nor worth the price point. Also, I ordered a side of guac, and it just did not do it.

Left a bar on 14th St at 2AM and the taco truck was out front and saved my life. Steak burrito with the green sauce was on par for the tacos and burritos I have back home in Texas. 5/5 Stars, would do again. Dámelo todo, Papi!
