I don’t usually leave reviews, but I tried roaming rooster for the first time and the salad is good. I definitely want to come back to try their sandwiches and tenders.
But I wanted to recognize an employee. The cashier who helped me today absolutely deserves a review. I think his name is Octavius (from the receipt, I forgot to ask his name). He was a young gentleman with red locs, a heart of gold and a bright future.
He was friendly, upbeat, and kind from the second I walked inside. He took my order quickly, got everything right and somehow made a fast food stop feel like stopping by family's house instead of just a transaction. He also did the same with several customers who came in and some seemed to be regulars who recognize him and love having him as the cashier. He
He was extremely positive on a dreary cold day and had a room of complete strangers all bantering. You can tell he actually cares about doing a good job, and connecting with people. That kind of energy makes a huge difference. He was able to get folk's orders out while having good conversation and made everyone feel welcome to be there. This place is lucky to have him.

DO NOT UBER from this location. The MAIN REASON TO EAT THE CHICKEN is the rooster sauce and guess what was not sent. $60 for regular fried chicken ,fries & 2 slider size sandwiches is ridiculous. Plus they do not package the pickles apart so juice is soaked on chicken & bread. Ruined my experience.

The order took about 15 minutes to complete. A little long, but the good came out for and fresh! Chicken was cooked just right, and the sauces were great. My favorite sauce was the honey mustard, but the other sauce was good too. The lady working in front was nice. Their slaw was awesome and the fries tasted freshly cut. I would come back next time I'm in town.
