Listen. This chicken is lit. It is worth it. It is incredible. This is a local business owned by POC. And their chicken made me see God.
Just ordered my food, not even an hour ago and specifically explained to the cashier that I wanted a mild honey chicken sandwich with fries. Well, I got my sandwich back and it was hot. It wasn’t mild and it was greasy, too much grease! I had to throw away the sandwich. This is like my third time going there the first two times was OK but this time this it was a miss. $17 and some change for a sandwich and fries. I probably won’t go back after this one. Bloody pressure through the roof after this one.

I've been to this restaurant before but I didn't realize how expensive they were. $19 plus for 3 tenders, fries, and a small drink with the food not being this good this time. I'm disappointed. My fries were greasy and they were mostly hard so I couldn't enjoy them. The tenders were small but still, ok. The skin of the chicken does not stay on so I just scrapped it off and enjoyed it with sauce. The staff was nice and patient.

I literally seek out chicken spots and this is one of my absolute favorites. YES the atmosphere is a bit plain (few tables in an empty room) but who cares. You came for the food, order your OG Nashville ONE level higher than you think you should get as the others have said and get on with your life a bit happier with some of the best chicken in your stomach.

The Cole slaw is by far one of the worst things in the world!! Never get the chicken with Cole slaw! Horrid! Horrible! Never buy $5 French fries where they throw the grease and the fries in the same bag!

Roaming Rooster was hyped up to me by a friend, so we finally went to eat there. Those expectations may have played into my experience. Roaming Rooster doesn’t really have an “atmosphere,” it’s pretty empty inside but it does have seating. The lady who took our order was really nice. We got an Oreo milkshake and honey butter sandwich. They come with two patties, so that was a nice surprise. The milkshake was alright, and the food was good! But not all it was hyped up to be. Personally I would still prefer Popeye’s to this in terms of flavor and atmosphere, but it was pretty good; one sandwich will definitely fill you up.

I love the Bladensburg Rd location. Nijah, was so sweet. I love when people greet me when I come into their establishment. She remembered me when I came in today and that made new feel so good. The food is great, but just make the fries a little bit more crispy. Thank you.
