I experienced the most discriminatory service here. It was on Sunday February 16 at 11:45 PM. The cashier took the order from the people who were in front of me and when it is my turn, she told me they are closed and asked me to leave. I tried to get clarification on why she is not able to take my order since she took the order from the people before me and I was there behind them plus the door was not even closed yet but the lady was so rude and not customer service oriented. People of color should avoid this place at any cost.

Never had a bad experience nothing but pleasantries
FOUND A BUG/FOREIGN OBJECT IN MY SHAKE!
Ordered a couple of sandwiches and 2 shakes with a friend of mine through Uber Eats. I got to the end of my shake and felt something in my mouth, I pulled it out and it was this brown “thing” in my shake. It looks like a bug because it “squished” but regardless, it’s absolutely disgusting.
Will never be coming back, thank you for the trauma.

Arrived late in DC, and decided to Uber eats, with low expectations. This place popped up because of a deal they had going on, got 2 chicken sandwiches delivered and both were amazing. We had very low expectations, but were blown away. They were both delicious!

First time visiting, the young guy at the window was very polite and patient. The food was very good. I got the medium Nashville hot chicken sandwich and fries. Both were delicious and the wait time wasn't too bad which of good since you have to stand outside.

Lord have mercy! The chicken is so unseasoned. I ordered 3 mild wings and I was so dissapointed. All that waiting for nothing. So overpriced. I should have just went to popeyes.

there is no seating outdoor and indoor. i was recommend to get the honey butter sandwich but didn’t taste like that at all. i never had something so unseasoned ever in my life. the fries were a lot which is a good thing but it also was unseasoned. it was $21 for a drink sandwich and fries with no seating. never will eat here again. tastes horrible and is overpriced. the worker also charged my friend for a large drink but gave him a regular. we came back and he was hesitant on being right then he finally gave him the large drink but wow this place is horrible

Came across Roaming Rooster while exploring the night life of DC. People around seem to be enjoying the food.
I got a Medium Spicy Nashville Chicken Sandwich to go, it was really really good. Perfect spiciness, beware the medium is quite Hot. 5/5.
I will definitely be eating here again next time I'm in DC.

I ordered from Roaming Rooster twice while I was in DC. Best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. Forget Popeyes or Chick-fil-A! The Rooster is where it's at!

$15 for quality mcmuffin with no sides.
Food was great but they took forever with my food, 2 parties came in way after me and got their food before me, which was a bit concerning

I found this restaurant while working in Washington DC, and it was a great find. It was a busy place but not surprised with the hustle and bustle of being in the city (or district). There was a lot of carry out and take out, not full of people dining in, but that's okay. These people have a place where they can get some chicken with some heat, and the Roaming Rooster did a great job preparing it. It's definitely a recommended stop (or take it to go) from me.
