I am so disappointed. I've always loved Rocklands. I ordered by DoorDash and received frozen pressed meat chicken tenders. Absolutely not what I expected or paid for. Beware!

i spent 45 on a rib platter..it looks good but i have never and i mean never tasted food this bad..the meat has zero flavor no seasoning at all just smoked meat and bbq sauce no salt no pepper 😵‍💫 no nothing im so heartbroken i wasted my hard earned money

Rocklands does not hire the people who eat there. The cashier did not speak basic English. Every customer at that time did speak English. Rocklands is too cheap to hire those who can speak English or maybe Rocklands has an agenda. Consequentially we need to struggle to place an order. Then, cashier didn't provide beverage right away. Took forever to get meal likely bc they are understaffed or maybe no one cares. Beans & rice was below avg. Cucumber salad was good. Odd that they place saran-wrapped corn-bread on the plate for in-restaurant diners. Bud Light this place.

It’s the best barbecue I’ve had in DC. The Texmex-themed fast casual spot is nestled in the Main Street of Glover Park and is a favorite of mine - I am a regular. My personal favorite is the pulled chicken sandwich with baked beans. It totally transports me to Texas hill country and I love it. Highly recommend!

Amazing BBQ dishes, great sides and nice prices. We were here as tourists but will definitely visit again if we ever come back. Best meal we had during our stay in DC!!

I enjoy good BBQ. This was not good. I had the 3 meat platter. Pulled Pork ok, chicken
Looked like it had been shaved off of a breast and served with a dollop of bbq sauce. The brisket same thing only worse. Shaved pieces of thin dried out meat with a splash of bbq sauce on it. My daughter ordered a half pound of brisket and actually got a half pound a meat. One large chuck of brisket dumped on her plate. Dried out, tough not very good. Really, not sliced, just a hunk of meat.
Nice people work there so I have to think they do not know any better. Perhaps have never had good bbq.
I’ve never reviewed a restaurant before so forgive me in advance if I didn’t follow the protocol.
