Rooftop at the Thompson

I came to the rooftop after a long day after work. Although the food and drinks were amazing, my highlight was KiKi. I was greeted with a smile and nothing less. I received water first (which is always appreciated) and never had to wait for another drink. Overall, after a long day I appreciate how the service, food, and drinks all turned out.

I had such a pleasant experience at the Rooftop! Keke and Iman were both 1. So warm and personable and 2. They both went above and beyond to cater to our experience. I would recommend to anyone and will absolutely be back!

I wasn't there long, but it seemed overpriced. I had two drinks, and they were $25 apiece. At those prices, you can find much better options for the money you will spend.

Overcrowded on a sat nite after a Nationals game with 2 bartenders to take orders. Only went here because I was tired after traveling all day and this was the closest at 10 pm. Overpriced and skimpy for what you get. Nice rooftop view for 5 min. Before it rained. Better bet is to have a drink during sunset.

Hi so as an Asian minority client who’s visiting with a friend of mine who’s Jewish and red head in W.dc it was very annoying and frustrating to not be served for over 20 mins because the bar tender was playing favoritism. During happy hour, just trying to live our best lives. So imagine getting up to the rooftop after a long day Tuesday early afternoon and you’re standing there, you got dressed up and left ur room to go upstairs. And you AND your bestie, both female ready for a refreshing drink. Facing such audacity and disrespect because a man decided to be jaded on a Tuesday even tho club should just be turning up on a Tuesday. Yikes. It’s Washington DC yall do better lmao.
Oh btw we got charged full price during happy hour DC time. Here’s the receipt attached below, idk how to feel rn. We spent $20-$30 round up per drank DURING happy hour like is this man CRAZY???? Can he plz just be fr. Ok that’s yall bye, watch out for the haters queens. Periodt Pooh.

Came across this place while browsing rooftop in the DMV to explore.
Decided to check them out. I'm glad I did.

The bartender was the best. Very friendly and attentive. All her recommendations were spot on a hit!

Lobster rolls starter(my favorite)
Crab dip..

The food was good but the view was even better.
Will recommend walking down by the yard and waterfront. Beautiful with few bar for quick bite

Iman is the best bartender! She is friendly, knowledgeable, and a master mixologist. Even with a full bar, she manages to provide amazing customer service.

However, to not properly stock the bar is unprofessional. The only beer they had in stock was Dogfish Head IPA and woodchuck cider.

HH is until 7, with a nice variety of food.
