TASTY pastries! I got the black sesame cronut, a passion fruit donut, and matcha chocolate chip cookie. We also shared a mango matcha and an ube latte. Not sure what to get? They’re super helpful, just ask ?
Edit: we got an egg cheese bacon sandwich and a musubi croissant to go and these were way better than the sweets. Skip the sweets go for the savory items
it's in a convenient location right across the street from the metro and a few blocks away from the zoo.
Everything I had had was not too sweet which I like. The black sesame donut is a brioche bun with cream in it. It looks like a malasada, but it's not going to taste like one from Hawaii. The kouign amanna I've had in the past have been extra buttery so this was a nice change. It's still delicious with a crispy sugary top and the ube cream is not too sweet or over/underwhelming. the milk tea overpowers the coffee in the cmt drink. Minimum traffic on a Tuesday afternoon and service was quick. It's a nice stop right before going to the zoo.

One of the best (and unique) bakeries in D.C.! Walk inside this bright and beautiful space in Woodley Park and look at all the pastries behind the glass. It’s an Asian-American bakery and each pastry- sweet and savory- reflects that. There are over a dozen pastries to choose from- cookies, croissants, doughnuts, and more. Visiting with an empty stomach, I ordered the black sesame doughnut and the Spam Musubi croissant. Each came out warm and full of flavor. I loved both! To drink, I ordered the brown sugar latte and it was perfect- not too sweet or bitter.

This is definitely one of my favorite spots in DC. Their Strawberry Lychee Donut melts in your mouth and is definitely my favorite. I have a massive sweet tooth so this is definitely you have to try if you are craving something sweet. Their ube latte is also really good too. If you come here, you cannot leave without having one of their donuts. They are also extremely quick, and be quite busy sometimes, which can be quite convenient. I’d definitely recommend this place is you are trying to pick up!
