There's a reason Rose Ave usually has a line out the door. This is one of the best bakeries in DC, with a somewhat limited selection compared to other bakeries. They have one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the city, egg and cheese on a garlic croissant type roll. Super rich and will definitely leave your hands covered in butter. The ube kouign amann is incredible and the donuts are both delicious and unique. They have great coffee and a small selection of cakes and...
I only had the breakfast sandwich and the Vietnamese iced coffee but it rocked my world. Gonna be coming back when I’m in the area.

Line is ridiculously long on weekends. If you want another Asian fusion bakery-cafe that's equally good and without the Instagram hype and the 30 minute queue, get off the metro 1 stop away at Cleveland Park and go to SakuSaku.
