On Saturday, May 24, 2025, my friends and I traveled from Baltimore to DC. While touring the area, we decided to stop at the Rose Bar because we could hear the music outside and it sounded like our vibe. There were 6 of us and we all paid $30 each to enter. Once inside the club, we attempted to enter the only room that was open for the day party, but we were stopped at the steps at the entry of the room by security personnel, whom informed us that the room was at capacity. We could visibly see that there was more space that could have been used, by the security had a large portion of the room designated for VIP. My friends and I immediately exited the building and explained the situation to the security staff at the front door. He (the security) walked back inside the club with us and verified that the club was at capacity. We exited the club with him. The ladies at the front entrance were all understanding and began issues refunds to three people in our group. The male security stopped her, and said no one else can get their money back. The female staff were all visibly shocked and you could see on their faces that they knew he was wrong. One of the females even apologized and stated that he was wrong. We left the club without further incident, but I surely won’t be returning because these people don’t conduct business in a professional manner. Don’t go to this club!

came here for a reserved event and my partner was laughed at by security about their ID not looking like them because they had a buzz cut? and then we were watched by multiple security members which made me and my partner very uncomfortable. does not feel like an LGBTQ+ friendly place. also how was a vodka sour $20?

Didn’t even get in because the balding doorman with braces was rude and incompetent. I didn’t take his disrespect and ignorance gently, and that hurt his feelings. By the time our tickets were accepted at the door and I handed him my ID, he claimed that it was “fake” without giving a proper explanation (my ID has never been denied at the door, and he was obviously being petty for our prior conversation). He then asked me to pull up my personal information on my phone, which was a very vague statement. I asked him for clearer instructions and he reached for my phone, in which I then instructed him to not touch my phone. Because I was getting worked up due to the doorman’s illogical and petty actions, I was told that I couldn’t even enter.
