Food, service, flavors, environment, and experience were all the best I’ve had at n a restaurant. Went for our 10 year anniversary and decided we would be returning for subsequent anniversaries.

Ok, the food is fantastic but before going you need to know that this restaurant is expensive, VERY expensive. It’s also noisy with hard surfaces everywhere.

For the money, I would expect table cloths, and some consistency in staff clothing, such as a black or white shirt. Staff are in just general street clothes, indiscernible from guests and unfitting for the class and price of this establishment.

Rose’s Luxury is one of DC’s most beloved restaurants 🌹✨. Known for its inventive American small plates and warm, welcoming vibe, it delivers a dining experience that feels both creative and approachable. Dishes are meant to be shared, and each one is a surprise of flavor, texture, and presentation. 🍴💎

The atmosphere is cozy yet buzzing 🌆🥂, with service that feels genuinely personal. It’s the kind of place where a meal turns into a memory, whether you’re on a date, out with friends, or just indulging yourself. A true DC gem that lives up to the hype. 🙌❤️

It was our first time at Rose’s Luxury this evening. Everything was fantastic. Our food was delicious. Our server was the best. The ambiance was stellar. My only wish is that I was able to sit further into the restaurant to experience more of it… guess that will be for next time!

Six of us had the tasting menu and every item was phenomenal. Our favorites were pork and lychee salad, tuna tartare, and the super charred cabbage. Each dish was visually appealing and an explosion of flavors. The service was amazing. They even ran to a sister restaurant to find a bottle of wine for us. Loved the energy of the restaurant. Highly recommend Rose’s Luxury!

The food was amazing with lots of original flavor profiles (especially the pork lychee and cod)! Lindsay was so sweet and made sure we had a wonderful meal.

Rose’s Luxury is a playground for culinary nerds and flavor thrill-seekers. The menu bursts with creativity, pairing ingredients in ways that sound improbable but taste downright genius. The pork and l
ychee salad is a decadent, sweet-savory masterpiece, while the avocado-stuffed tuna feels like edible innovation at its finest. Other standouts include Colonne Pompeii, miso-glazed sea bass, and the crispy, golden deep-fried pork showcase the kitchen’s fearless approach to flavor.

And then there’s dessert: the coconut tres leches cake is a cool, creamy finale to what can only be described as a mind-blowing, palate-fireworks experience. Every plate arrives like a piece of modern art…vivid, playful, and impossible not to photograph.

The décor leans effortlessly chic, channeling LA vibes right in the heart of DC, making it a go-to spot for stylish events. Everyone I’ve ever brought here has left raving because the food isn’t just delicious, it’s inventive, bold, and pure fun.

I've been coming here on and off for nearly ten years and have so many special memories at this restaurant. I moved away from DC in 2017 and try to visit Roses everytime I'm in town. It's painful to give this restaurant anything less than a five star review, but it's really starting to let me down and I don't know if I'll continue to make this a stop whilst in DC.

1) Menu- No price transparency for dinner on the menu aside from supplements. Two drinks + the burger on top of the prix fixe set me back $250. I wish they'd bring back the a la carte menu, but when the restaurant continues to sell out there's no incentive to.

2) Service- Staff has always been dependably wonderful and this visit was no exception and it was nice to strike up a friendly conversation with the bartender. Unfortunately during my meal there was an inexplicable ~20 minute gap between the second and third courses. Even with this my colonne pompeii that I'd so been looking forward to eating came out cold... really disappointing.

3) Food - Wonderful as always. However, the presentation of the burger was really off-putting and I had to take it off of the iron skillet to keep it from burning my mouth (which it did multiple times). Holy hell was it good though.

Overall, I wish Roses would bring back price transparency and the a la carte menu. The former should be easy to do, the latter is probably not going to happen

Truly I can say that I had one of the best meals of my life at Rose’s. Put it this way i ate there in February (‘25) and I’m still thinking of that meal every often.
The service here is some of the best in DC, from the moment you walk in and are greeted by the hostess down to the kind and quick person who refills your water before you even realized you had sipped half your glass already.
I enjoyed the variety of flavors and fusions of food groups.

Started with lychee salad layered with heat and sweetness, then moved to pork lychee pasta that balanced richness with brightness. Staff kept the mood light and easy, and the cozy townhouse setting turned the dinner into something memorable without stiffness.
