Food was good the first time we came. It was an hour before closing and we had a great time sitting out on the patio with our bikes parked just outside the railing. They wouldn’t let us sit in the patio the second time, even though it was 8 (they close at 9). So we took our business next door to Sweetgreen.
The food was flavorful and the service was efficient. They do have a nice indoor seating area. I have visited this location a handful of times. The only problem is, they have a major fly problem. Every time I have sat in the dining area, I have to be on the look-out, swatting away flies. Even if I try to ignore them, flies will get really close to my bowl or to me, in general. The last time, a fly literally flew into my bowl when I was almost done. During my visit before that...
Food great. Staff friendly. Facilities clean. We got there right as they put their chicken dishes on sale. They were a great value. If they weren't on sale, I would say they are still worth the price. Staff was super friendly, we had never been to a place like this and they walked us through it without making us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Facilities seem clean and well maintained. I'll be back before leaving DC.
