I really need to stop coming here hoping there wont be issues. I stopped for almost 8 months after getting different sides that were clearly expired. I could tell by the taste and smell. But I was silly and started going back.

Today I went and everything was fine until I could see a hair in the tomato container. What I do appreciate is that every time there is an issue they handle it immediately and well. A worker took the container to the back and came back with a clean one.

However, the issue of spoiled sides returned. The chickpea salad was old and started to turn. I had to remove it from my bowl but unfortunately did not have time to go back to the store.

The workers are lovely and when it’s good, the food is decent. The rice is always hard but I figured that was their way because it is ALWAYS hard.

Nevertheless, Im done with Roti because there is no quality control and to consistently serve sides that are spoiled is ridiculous. And the sad thing is it’s not just one side. The carrots, eggplant, cucumbers, and now chickpea salad have all been spoiled at different points. Roti is way too pricey to not be quality food.

Not bad if you're in one of the nearby hotels and need a less unhealthy food option nearby

The Shift Manager (Pre) was phenomenal. Talk about customer service at its finest! I don’t go out to eat often and when I do I love receiving amazing customer service and this spot has it for sure! I will definitely continue to come back to this specific location (1275 1st NE). It’s truly been a pleasure.

Pre the shift manager had a wonderful attitude and helped us with the best customer service we could ask for.
If I could add more stars I would.

Delicious fresh food and great service

Stale food served by a teenager who didn’t want to be there.

Reminder: don’t pick up dinner from a lunch place.
The meat was gummy, the pita—rock hard (from being “preheated” all day), and the server, who stuffed half a portion on his way out (closing up 30m ahead of time), looked like he was suffering more with every minute he had to be there.

The food was SO not fresh. I ended up throwing most of it away. 17 bucks for old steak and rice with some veggies and hardly any of the spices mentioned? This is my sign to take a long hiatus from restaurant food.

Not the cleanest seating area, a bit rushed process, the portions were small and not so tasty, but affordable.

This is the Mediterranean version of Chipotle. The location was in need of maintenance, and a deep cleaning. The food was mediocre at best. Would not do again for this price.

Delish! Needed food after a long day and Roti hit the spot! Ordered a greens and grain bowl with harissa chicken and steak with added toppings of my choosing. It was great. With a drink came to about $20, but chicken AND steak increased the price. Totally worth it.

This Roti is raggedy. $20 for an inedible bowl of old vegetables. And the service is terrible - no "hi, may I help you?", just servers barking "what would you like?". Avoid this one

Arrived in DC after a long day of travelling, and all I felt like was a nice salad. We went walking down the street in the hopes of finding something, and saw a guy eating outside Roti, so decided to go in. It did not disappoint. We each had the Harissa Chicken Chopped Salad and enjoyed every mouthful. It came with a nice hot pita, which I enjoyed filling with some of my salad. The carrots had a sweet surprise of raisins. I would definitely go back.

Today Jul 18, 2024. We got couple of orders from Roti for brunch. The lady who was taking the orders was so obnoxious. She is angry for whatever reason, keeps sayin "next, next,..." To finish the line .. she didn't have the patience to take all of my orderes and told me to keep moving. My sandwich was stuffed with cabbage and carrots. It wasn't good. The chicken salad was good though, my wife liked it. But the behavior was bad! It unfortunate to see good food being wasted by moody employee. A good way to lose your business. Hope the owner will take this into consideration.
