We LOVED Roy Boys! We came before a show at the 930 club which is right around the corner, so it is an excellent location.We enjoyed their hot chicken tenders, Orúña cocktails, waffle fries, crab dip, and biscuit basket. We ordered way too much because the portions were pretty generous. We indulged in their happy hour pricing too which is so reasonable considering the awesome location!!The decor is so hip and fun.I can’t wait to come back!!

Cool atmosphere but their idea of Mofongo is definitely not what I'm accustomed to and I'm a Jersey girl that was raised with Boriquas. I don't know if different parts of the island prepare it other ways but this way is not for me. Had fatty / bone in chicken thigh, not shredded and stuffed inside of mashed plantains w/ that delicious gravy on top Smh. I was very disappointed.$$

?Ridiculously awesome fried chicken? Wow! Like Mom used to make for the Fourth of July ??. Crispy + crunchy on the outside. Moist + meaty on the inside. Louisiana style is spicy and just so right.The collard greens and biscuits are perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and oh, so tasty. And,the naughty fried pickles? Who could possibly resist them? Yum! ?. Roy Boys = home cookin', baby! ❤️

I love everything about Roy Boys. The drinks, music, and food are all on point. 10/10 service every time on top of that. I had them cater an event I had last month and they were so accommodating through that experience as well.

Fried chicken and mac n cheese were decent but nothing noteworthy. Cole slaw was borderline inedible, tasted like soap. Not impressed especially given the price.

the fried chicken was dry and lacked seasoning. Even the Elote corn and slaw lacked flavor? I tried the chicken sandwich in the past which was decent but this current meal was disappointing.
The food was amazing the vibe was right and the staff was on point! I had the waffle fries, the dipped tacos... So delicious!The only thing that threw me off was the drinks. Their flavors were not what I expected or didn't hit the way I'd thought they would.

Horrible experience last night, we tried to eat here before hitting 9:30 club. The guy at the door said we had to show a negative rona test or booster shot within the last two weeks or we couldn't come in. We had masks on and proof of vaccinations and are fully vaccinated and boosted, but were denied service. He said our boosters were over two weeks ago so we couldn't come in. I truly hope they go out of business. The mandate doesn't require that, they are making up their own crazy rules that make no sense. I would think twice about supporting a business like this.We went to Nellie's and ate with no problems. Nellie's is a hell of a lot friendlier and deserve to be supported over these clowns ?

What a place! The food and service were both awesome, it's a great stop to make before a concert at the 9:30 Club around the corner. The ice cream tacos were so good I would have gladly just had them by themselves instead of a meal.

Good was ??. We got the Half Bird with 2 sides the Mac and cheese was delicious as well as the biscuit basket. The barria quesadilla was Sooo good!!! And don't get me started in the Strawberry cheesecake taco. Would recommend. Our server was awesome as well I can't remember his name but he had good service!
