It was ok for the most part. I was hungry and wanted something quick to eat. However, I didn't care for the chicken or fries bcuz they were too greasy for me. Being a diabetic it's not the best food to eat.
I'm a proud Royal Rooster regular and the food is always superb. I'm particularly fond with the Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich. The family that runs the restaurant are extremely welcoming and hospitable. I always feel at home when dining.
The chicken sandwich I had here was outrageously good! Was good enough that I will go out of my way to stop by here next time I'm in DC. Also the owner was really great. I look forward to meeting him again. We had a lovely conversation while I ate my super tasty chicken sandwich. I got the butter crispy fried or something like that, I can't remember. Next time I think I'll just get a straight up fried chicken with lettuce tomato and mayonnaise and I'm sure...
