This restaurant was great. Excellent food, quick and helpful service! We had a group of seven people with varied tastes and we all found a dish we enjoyed. The lavender lemonade is great too!Be warned that there are many spicy options but about half the menu is not spicy.

Too sweet. Way too sweet. Ate only because I was starving. My husband's food was also extremely sweet. I don't recommend this restaurant.

Very good thai food. The duck roll is an absolute must. I also tried the Tom Kha soup, a thai classic and it didn't disappoint at all. I recomend you try some of the craft beers that they offer. The place is small but pretty cuzy.

Food is excellent here. Only thing is, you order via phone, even drinks. Takes away from the sit down experience. Still recommend.

Delicious green curry pad Thai!! Would recommend. Very reasonably priced too! Highly recommend!

Came to this place since we were looking to eat veg in Thai. Small place in the Chinatown. They were quite accommodating to assign us a table 10 min before restaurant close out time.Tried drunken noodles, panang curry, garden wrap, spicy fried rice, sticky mango rice, Thai ice tea. Everything was delicious. Garden wrap was a bit bland, Drunken noodles were a bit spicy, panang curry was a bit sweet although it all tasted nice.Only thing to caution: the location is a bit shady, a lot of homeless people around.

Small Thai restaurant in China Town that serves delicious entrees and has good drinks. We came in pretty early during lunch time and it was only a few others inside. The service was super attentive and patient as we needed some extra time to look over the menu. We ordered chicken satay and kee mow noodles. Both were perfectly prepared. To drink I had a watermelon lemonade and the wife and a lavender lemonade. We would definitely recommend to eat here.

I came here on a Monday night in Dec. '22. There was only carry out/orders after 9 pm. I love the menu's variety of items to try.Food/Drink quality for price: good! I think walking with the food back to the Hampton inn in 40° weather took away some heat so I recommend getting there before 9 and dining in.Atmosphere: calm and chill, pillows at bench seats are nice touchNoise level: very quiet, just others' conversationsLighting: bright LED lightsStaff: friendly and helpfulCleanliness: pretty clean, table was a bit dirtySeating: 16 seats inside at tables and a few at the barOutlets: I didn't see anyWiFi: nokeADA: Steps up to door will be an issue for some.

I don’t recommend it, coconut soup was not anywhere close to what a good Thai restaurant offers, left a bad taste for hours after and smelled and looked horrible when served. Thai fried rice was too salty and sweet at the same time. Would not recommend at all. Only came in because of the positive reviews and I just can’t see how they have such reviews when we were 5 people in our party and all 5 of us left from there wishing we had never walk in. Better off going to McDonald’s or any other place but here.

While visiting DC on a road trip to Boston, I decided to give this place a try. Im so so glad I found this Thai cozy yummy cuisine. I did a quick google search and they had the best reviews from my location. It was in Oct on a holiday so they where not busy at all. I ordered via telephone, my food was ready in approx. 20min. I'm ok with the wait, good food doesn't need to be prepared quickly.Parking tip: hubs stayed in the car while on the side of the street, so no parking issues for us, also on most holidays street parking is free in DC, your welcome, Lol!Food was good and hot, we found a lovely park and enjoyed our to go food. Serving size was more than enough for lunch. I had the green curry and my spouse had the chicken fried rice. and chicken satay. The inside of restaurant was clean and tidy, staff was very professional. I did feel welcome, and this will be a go to spot if Im in town, yes I highly recommend them. Our food was absolutely delicious, not to spicy but just perfect!

This is a cute little Thai place in Chinatown. They are on the cutting edge of technology: you can view the menu, order, and pay all from your phone (but they said they could take our order the regular way too). I had the pumpkin curry with brown rice, both of which are not completely common. The pumpkin curry had a good amount of meat and veggies: red and green bell peppers, calabaza squash, and basil. Yum! It was perfectly spicy: enough to make my nose run. My daughter had the Tom ka chicken soup, which she liked. Great place! Highly recommend!

I learned about this tiny gem of a Thai restaurant when returning to DC on a business trip and staying nearby. I wish I'd known about Royal Thai when I lived in the capital! It's an unassuming presence on H Street and easy to walk by: the interior is intimate, about a dozen tables and a bar. The menu is classic Thai; the key is implementation and very reasonable prices. I ordered the Kra Prow on the server's advice. The portion was large and the chef certainly didn't skimp on the chicken. It was very spicy, so I was glad for the tea and water--but not overwhelming spicy, either. If I had more time in DC, I would have worked my way through the menu. The servers were attentive but not overly so, leaving me to my repast and reading in peace and not pushing me out preemptively. Looking around, others in the restaurant clearly were enjoying both the food and relaxing atmosphere.

We came here for lunch on a hot day of walking around the city. The food was terrific and the service was good! The atmosphere was just okay, I think it might be better for takeout especially since you order from your phone at the table anyway. The food is the real star of this place - we got the duck roll appetizer, pineapple fried rice, and vegetable pad Thai. All dishes were perfect!

The restaurant is located in China Town. We have to order online by scanning the QR code. It will redirect you to the menu and you can order and pay in one click. A little bit pricey but reasonable for Washington DC. The restaurant is small and compact. The service is good. I loved the food even though the taste is not excellent.

Food was cool. Across the street from the hotel I was staying at. Had a couple beers. Got the spicy Thai rice. It was super spicy couldn’t really enjoy it but tasted good from what i had. I sat at the bar. Small quaint. Good customer service.
