We went for a business dinner and had the BEST service from a newer server MILAN. She is fabulous and took the best care of our team. A real keeper.

****Worse Ruth Chris location ***** we have ever been to! Von was our server he was friendly but then barely ever came to visit us even when he was at the table right next to us. He could have checked in on us right next to him but he rushed off and did not. He began by not writing our order down and having to come back to ask me again what we ordered. No one came to clear our clear our first courses before our main course came. Our appetizer, soup and salad came out all at the same time brought out by a very confused food runner not by our server or not accompanied by our server Von.The lobster bisque was runny and so liquid it was all water with almost no flavor like they were trying to stretch whatever soup was left over for the guest that was there it had a few small shreds of lobster in it. It was the worst lobster bisque I have ever tasted. The veal ravioli appetizer was flavorless and bland in my opinion. The wedge salad and the chop salad were fresh and the only edible thing there. However, my husband said it tasted like coleslaw. He hates coleslaw. The bread was fresh and tasted good and served just before all of this so our table was so crowded we barely had room to eat. Von did check in to see how the appetizers, soups and salads were and we said great but we didn’t want to cause a fuss the soup and appetizer were awful. We ordered the filet and lobster. I ordered my steak medium rare and my husband ordered his steak medium. The very confused food runner showed up with our food and sides (asparagus with hollandaise sauce and the au gratin potatoes). He asked if we would like our plates removed and he looked around for someone else to remove them. No one else was even close or in sight to help him. We were like yes please. He accidentally switched our steaks and our lobsters were both rubbery and very over cooked and disgusting. The steaks were tender but tasted gamey and not well prepared. We didn’t even eat much of the steaks we couldn’t stomach them they were just awful. Our asparagus with hollandaise sauce were undercooked but the sauce was cold and jelly like and more like mayonnaise very badly made not at all like a good hollandaise sauce. It wasn’t even poured over the asparagus but placed on the side in a small cup.The au gratin potatoes were cubed potatoes with diced onions undercooked and covered in cheese not properly cooked they were not edible either just disgusting. I really liked other Ruth Chris locations this was a horrible disappointment.I was thankful when I complained to the lovely hostess about the awful service Von had barely visited with us she heard me and went and told manager and at least got some taken off the bill. However, with the food and service there is no way we would ever return to this location not to mention there was no dress code.No dress code. One thing that really topped it all off is that nearly everyone that came in dressed in a trashy low class manner and smelled of weed when they walked in. You would have thought it was a low class bar or establishment not a Ruth Chris. I wouldn’t not go here if you would like to dress up for a nice dinner!

We needed a place that offered gluten free food because I have celiac disease. Our server, Von, was absolutely amazing. He consulted the chef and asked for my meal to be brought out separate from the others. He was professional, friendly, and understanding. I hope you go to Ruth's Chris just to meet Von. Of course the food was amazing, too.

We had a large family dinner here to honor my husband who was buried at Arlington that day. From planning the menu to changing the number of guests, the staff was more than accommodating. With so many restaurants in DC, I am glad I picked this one. The food was piping hot. Each and every guest remarked how delicious everything was. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. It was a perfect ending to an otherwise solemn day. We were able to relax and enjoy our evening, and I felt it was a wonderful ending to an important day for our family.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House Happy HourRating: ★★☆☆☆I recently visited Ruth's Chris Steak House for their happy hour, hoping for a delightful experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. The ambiance was pleasant, but the service and drinks left much to be desired.Firstly, the drinks tasted more like diluted juice than the crafted cocktails I was anticipating. Despite ordering multiple times, it seemed like my requests were disappearing into a black hole in the back, as they took an eternity to arrive. The waiter appeared to be inattentive and possibly not entirely present, which reflected poorly on the overall service.Sadly, the happy hour at Ruth's Chris failed to live up to its name, leaving me unimpressed and unlikely to return. If you're seeking a genuinely enjoyable happy hour experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

I’m here now. Came here for happy hour with a group of 12 people. We got here at 5pm. It’s 6:02pm and we have not received any drinks or food. Was not offered water. The server told us that they only had one bartender. Only half of the table was served food. This was the worst service ever.

Don't remember the name of my server ( black, well spoken, shoulder length hair) she was amazing. Walked us through the menu. Prebussed the table, did her table touches, and offered dessert.

If you apply for a job at this DC location the incompetence has no boundaries, service is average at best, they change general mangers like they change bed sheets, customer service is really rude defensive, opportunity to receive and give feedback is going down by the year. Food is good does it make it a good place to eat? Yes, but I’d still dine at Morton’s. good day to whom shall come across this.Good day

Had the opportunity to work with Neil. He is very experienced and has great recommendations. Will be working with him again for sure. Also wanted to comment how nice and professional Ms. Ros is/was last evening. She was so professional and genuine and made my guest, and I feel very welcomed. Nice job as always!

The entire experience was subpar… my husband brung me here for my bday… the food was subpar, the service was just not good the bar is horrible it took forever to get our drinks we actually end up getting our food before the drinks, our server did his best he did have a few tables he started out providing excellent service but his demeanor changed, and it went down from there it started when we walked in with a reservation at 7pm and people who reservation was at 6 and 6:30 was being seated and we walked in at 6:55 they made me stand in heels horrible. The 2nd round of drinks was ordered was very rush my husband spent over $200 here and wish we went back to capital grille this place was just horrible I did not enjoy, they over charged us for drinks the menu said one thing our check said another it was just a horrible experience.

What happened?I've been coming to Ruth Chris for years.I have never had service this bad. Where are the guys that usually work there? The servers were subpar to what I'm use to.We had ro ask for everything 2-3 tines before we received it. The 2nd bartender just set our drinks by the handicap seating and we picked them up. (SAD SERVICE)It took 35 min to receive our check. Also, please make an addendum to your address. My friends were lost on K Street when the actual entrance is on the corner or 21 and L.

Had a great New Year’s Eve experience here. The food was great besides the lobster bisque being completely flavorless, our server switched it out for us with a casaer salad seamlessly. She wasn’t as attentive and the lights could have been dimmed where we were seated. Will definitely be back!
