Great food! Nice people. I only gave 4 stars for Service because they ran out of crab for the crab sandwich (it was close to closing time). But that's also a testament to how good their food is. Keep up the great work! If I were to make any suggestions, it would be: extend your hours to 8pm for the dinner crowd. We will be back!

The customer service is amazing. The chef was sweet and friendly. And even though she was the only one cooking and taking orders, she gave impeccable service. However, the fish started off good, but left a weird after taste. The fries were bomb though

Glad they finally corrected the photos that implied this was “sit-down.” They is a no-frills, so-so customer service, primarily frozen seafood focused carry out. A black owned business ✨I am glad to support from time to time, but not a great staple. If you’re in the area pop in for typical seafood offerings. The taste will do, but they could do a whole lot better to serve up fresh seafood and leave the freezer out of play. Better than most carry out for seafood, but underwhelming.
This family-run enterprise is the perfect size and offers delicious food. They are a fixture in Washington, DC, and a massive landmark that is secretly located in Edgewood Community, as the area is known to older residents. This is my go-to place for delicious wings, fries, and other foods. It's a hidden gem in the middle of Washington, DC. Additionally, I feel safer buying wings and fries here than at the Chinese takeout.
What a pleasant experience my gf and I had at S&G. Staff was very friendly and the food was perfectly seasoned.The best wing sauce is the house sauce (I think it’s some mix of mumbo + bbq). The whiting was our favorite fish.And the fries were great (fast food fries yum!).I love how they have sauce and seasonings on the counter for you to add on your own.Tip 1: Park down the little alley around the corner.Tip 2: cash payment gets a 4% discount.

I went back there thinking I was going to get some good fish like Horace and Dickies but all I got was an overpriced dry fish sandwich with french fries for $13 which I really thought is worth 6:50 no no I know those girls work really hard but I'm just being honest as a former restaurant owner of two restaurants when you do seafood you do it right so you can have a line coming out the door every time especially around lunch time

I love this place! The fried shrimp is my favorite, it's butterflied and the crunch is impeccable. I went to school close and would go at least once a week for fried shrimp and potato salad. The Mac and cheese is pretty good. Highly recommend trying this black owned business.
