Food was extraordinary. Lots of flavor! But owner most know that the best thing is the customer service provided by Yousseff. As a business owner I would love to have an employee like him.

$14 for this is a joke. I don’t care how good it is. And it ain’t that good.

Sababa is such a fun place and very creative. Where else are you going to find sweet potato falafel? I love the shakshuka, the coffee is always great, service is nice and we're lucky to have this wonderful place in Cleveland Park.

Updating my review from 5 to 3 stars. This was my go to date night with the wife over the last year. Service has gone noticeably downhill. Flavors of the food are still good.

Wish it was just one night, but noticing a decline throughout the last year and past 3 visits.

This was probably my 7th or 8th visit. Sababa is one of my favorite choices for upper NW along Conn. or Wisc. aves.
The food is consistently good for anyone who likes Middle Eastern / Israeli food. It's also one of the best values at its price point.
Servers are nice and attentive, though some occasional ditz out (eg, a server brought a drink for my friend, who'd arrived earlier, and did not offer me one, but she turned out overall good.)
The interior is not fancy but always comfortable, and it's never been too noisy when I've been there.

Sababa serves absolutely delicious modern Israeli cuisine. The restaurant is clean, intimate and beautiful, the servers are friendly and the dishes are fantastic. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower and the salmon cabab.

The meal was well balanced from start to finish. The mezze selection was fresh and thoughtfully presented, with a nice contrast of creamy, tangy, and earthy flavors paired with warm, soft bread. The mixed grill was generous and satisfying, served over fragrant yellow rice with well-seasoned, nicely charred meats. Grilled peppers and tomatoes added smokiness, while the pickled onions brought a bright, refreshing lift. Overall, comforting, flavorful, and well executed.

Takeout order. Kabob portion on the lamb was appetizer portion at best. If you are ordering for an entree, I would look elsewhere.

Super delicious spot. Everything we had was delicious and generously portioned. Schnitzel, hummus, dip assortment, and kofta were all great. The pita was absolutely amazing! Felt it was reasonable pricing for what we got. Service was great too. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food. Friendly service. Very attentive. Maybe a little to attentive. The hummus is truly amazing. So are the other spreads and the bread.

From outside it looking good but inside is terrible. I just finished my dinner in this terrible restaurant. If you are not just going there to drink wine your friends and not plan to eat than it is good choice. Otherwise food and service not good. Salati mezes were terrible. 5 appetizer sized meze served which it is great for 2 people to share but taste of mezes are terrible. I eat every one of the served mezes in different places including Turkish and Greek restaurants but Sababa’s one most terrible tasted. Kofte was delicious and good for share. Once we finished main course, I want to order Kunafa which it is one the worst as well. What a shame to call that dessert kunafa. I wish they call it cheesecake rather than kunafa. Taste was not bad if you are thinking as cheesecake. While we eating our dessert, our server dropped the check on the table like he wants us to go. I was thinking it was a good restaurant not Denny’s. After I signed my check, one server come over and she asked if we want to go and I want to finish rest at home and said yes. After waiting 5 minutes nobody come back. I asked our server what happened to our dessert and he told me lady throw it by accident. He just shrug and keep talking with another server like nothing happened and no apology. I am so disappointed and I forced my boyfriend to try this restaurant. I was planning to bring my friends for birthday dinner but I will be never coming back neither suggest anyone.

Went here last night with some girlfriends, it was a perfect spot for our group of 8, we could anctually hear each other, and atmosphere/vibe was 10/10 + good lighting, which is always a must for me. The food was incredible, great for sharing. Also it was reasonably priced

This is our neighborhood restaurant and we eat there regularly. The food and service are wonderful. We love that you can share small plates or go soup-to-nuts. Other than being a little too loud for conversation with friends, Sababa is well worth repeated visits.
