Comfortable atmosphere and outstanding food. Our server offered detailed explanations of the various plates and was very helpful in assisting with our selections. A wonderful experience.
we had a lovely double date and the desserts are probably the best I ever had in DC for me. However we felt like the plate portion sizing could have been more clear. The beef kofta was delicious, well-seasoned and flavorful but we didn’t feel like it was shareable sizing for a table of 4, and the staff didn’t really say what’s the recommended number of plates for a party of 4. The pomegranate mocktail was amazing. Overall we would return!
This was our first time at Sababa. The decor is a great visual to the food we were about to enjoy. Our server Collette is a pro. Her confident and animated voice lets you know she's got you, and while listening to her talk about the menu, it brings to life the words you're reading.
