A perfect little place - friendly service, great prices, amazing baked goods (try the sweet potato loaf). AND they make their breakfast sandwiches fresh!
Fantastic spinach quiche, served in a cute little box. Very quick service and I appreciate that you just order at the door. Quick service! Will be back to try other goodies!
They have the best food! Last weekend I got their spinach quiche and banana crumble muffin. AMAZING! I drove all the way back from LaPlata, MD this weekend for 5 quiches, banana bread and sweet potato bread. Coffee is pretty awesome too!!! Thank you all for your kindness. I hope the area supports you so you’re around for a long time!❤️
Soooo delicious .. I wish I had took pics the muffins are huge and yummy.
I loved the Banana Bread with a nice coffee, the owners are so kind and friendly. 100% recommendable. Everyone needs to try one of the breads they offer.
Walked waaaaaay out of my way to come here based on recommendations, to find a sign saying they’re only open Friday and Saturday 10-3. Um, you’re selling coffee, right? Really, not that precious. Plenty of places are keeping their opening hours updated online during corona, because they want their customers to know they care. Scratch this one off that list.
Simply delicious sweets! A wonderful collection of pastries

Sacred Grounds Cafe is a small stand inside St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Southwest Waterfront. It's open every day from the morning through the afternoon and staffed by the nicest people. They brew fair trade coffee from Rise Up (a Maryland based roastery) and desserts from Honey's Desserts. There are a few single high tables nearby. Despite having wifi, they don't have any outlets so make sure your computer is fully charged before you go.
good sustainably sourced coffee, fresh from the Eastern shore.
