I spent 40 bucks here and they left my fish. Mind you I live nowhere near them. Its literally a hour there and back like and whats really aggravating me is the girl that packaged my food charged me 5 cent for a carry on bag but didn’t put my stuff in there…

I recently visited Saints Paradise Cafeteria and was impressed by the quality of the food. The ribs were absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The overall meal was very good, and the cake was moist and satisfying, a perfect way to end the meal. Pricing is generally inexpensive, which makes it a great value, though costs can add up depending on what you order. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for hearty, well-prepared comfort food, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and affordable dining experience.

What a great experience. The food was some of the best that I've ever had. The staff is amazing and so warm and attentive. The location is really nice. This is something that everyone should try at least once. We like that so much yesterday we are going back for lunch today

Some of the best soul food that you can get, I am a Native Chicagoan that relocated to D.C. from Mississippi. I wish I would have visited this place when I first relocated. I visit 3 times a week (yes 3 times a week).

Best kept secret in DC. I’m upset I just found out about this place. The food reminds me of good old home cooking. I had to chicken leg, fried whiting, collards, yams and Mac. Prices aren’t bad either. I paid $24. Everything was delicious, I just wish the fish had more salt/seasoning on it but the chicken and sides were perfect! I would definitely come back to try more, maybe some turkey wings.

Friendly staff for sure — that’s honestly why I’m giving it four stars. The food itself was just okay. They do have a “Blue Plate Special” for about $14.99, but most other meals will run you closer to $25.

The line was long and they took a while to get to me, but the whole setup is pretty interesting since it’s actually inside a church and really close to the convention center.

Overall, it’s a decent spot if you’re already in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come back.

This place is a hidden gem! The blue plate special is $9,99! The portions are huge and the fish was really crispy and full of flavor. The service was excellent, all ladies were very sweet, the seating area is also very clean.

Arrived today wishing to place an order for 15 plates to feed the homeless cash in hand and was turned away bc of rude parking attendant. Shame. Went to Henry’s instead down the block and was so much better

Food was great at an affordable price. So far I have tasted the fish, turkey wings and baked chicken. That Fried fish is my favorite. It has now become a spot for Sunday dinners.

The food was delicious! We had pork chops, fried chicken, sweet potatoes, greens and macaroni and cheese. Everything was delicious! You only get 1 pork chop with the meal but an extra one was only $5. We also got the strawberry cake, pound cake and peach cobbler. The peach cobbler was delicious! Plenty of crust, which is the best part! It was very sweet but still good! The strawberry cake was too sweet for my liking but still tasty. The pound cake was delicious! The service is very very slow but I would definitely return.
