great food, quick service, not much seating so you need to just get lucky or wait. a lot of food for a good price.

The spot is very cozy and small . The place was really busy for a Sunday afternoon. I came here with with a friend based on his previous experience and we were not disappointed. We had a bit of a wait when we first entered the restaurant because of how popular and small the restaurant is it is. Be prepared to wait also ,it is a bit cramped and there isn't ample space between tables. I ordered the Sakuramen Ramen with Chicken Spice Level 4 . The amount of noodles given was sufficient, and the broth was really hot and flavorful. Will be back to try more of the menu when in Adams Morgan

Perfect comfort food and the best ramen around. Chashu buns are also great. Felt like it had a little slump in quality the winter before last, but this winter it was back as delicious as ever.

The pork slices were delicious, and the ramen was very good. Watch out for the spices though, we asked for a 1/10 and it was still too hot.

Wait time was around 10-15 minutes on a Friday night. I don't think there's an option for reservations. Decor is nice inside. Simple but inviting. Good service. My spicy miso (spice level 4) was spicing. I'd order spice level 3 next time. The meat and broth and noodles were all so delicious. I might add an egg next time as well. I would definitely go here again!

I haven't really been blown away by ramen in the past, but I really loved it here!Couldn't find it at first because it was at basement level, but the atmosphere feels very intimate, clean, and nice! Mainly focuses on their ramen, other than their alcohol and appetizers, but that just means that they really work on the quality of the ramen. My family got the Tonkatsu Mild, Spicy Miso, Sakuramen, and the Toritori. I chose level 6 for the fireball in the Spicy Miso and it was a good level of spice. It's not enough to where you can't taste the flavor of the broth anymore and only feel the spice. The Tonkatsu Mild was flavored really nicely and I liked it a lot. I'd like for the Sakuramen to be a bit more flavorful, but it's a good veggie option and my mom liked it. Lastly, my favorite was the ToriTori. I was apprehensive at first since it was chicken but I loved it so much. The broth was rich and slightly sweet. The chicken was also cooked really well and still juicy. And for all the ramens, the noodles were really nice! I preferred the thin straight noodles over the thicker ones though. At the end, they packed my leftovers for me and gave my little sister a complimentary strawberry mochi ice cream. You should definitely come, the workers were really sweet!Vegetarian options: If you're vegetarian, you'll be able to eat here with your friends but it's definitely not vegetarian focused.Parking: I paid for a parking garage but it was very tight and full. I also came on a Tuesday night at 5pm.Wheelchair accessibility: Basement level so you'd need to take the stairs and it's quite tight :(

Best ramen in DC. I like that you can add extra broth and customize the spice level between 1-10z

Not bad, but not good either. Dined in with a friend and had high hopes because the reviews were great. The restaurant is located on a cute vibey street on the lower level of a duplex building. The space was clean, quiet, and cozy! Service was great and the staff was friendly. The food however…. Not great. We both ordered ramen and were very disappointed. If you’re really hungry and care about quantity over quality, then this would be solid for you. The serving size was massive! My chosun ramen was very mediocre. The broth was very salty, noodles were chewy (not springy) and kimchi was translucent and funky tasting. Occasionally, when I was eating the beef topping, I felt some hard tendony bits which threw off the experience. The redeeming factor for the ramen was the perfect ramen egg.My friend ordered the spicy miso and was also unimpressed. It did not taste like a miso based ramen and his noodles were doughy and borderline uncooked. As impressive as the food looked, we were disappointed in the taste. Needless to say, we ate quickly and left.Pros:- quantity of food- quick serviceCons:- taste of food

Very good find in Washington, DC! The place has limited seating but wait times are not long. This place is a hidden gem, I highly recommended trying this place out.

Last year it was amazing. This year, please start your visit with the smell of urine in an alley way staircase. Then get treated like you are annoying for even coming in. Then eat a bowl of the saltiest broth and chasu you can think of. Then pay $8 for a can of beer. $30 dollars literally I could’ve set on fire and been happier watching it turn to ash. Hard pass. When you leave a full plate on the table and the staff doesn’t ask if something wasn’t right you should know right then, you made a mistake.

Came in here on a whim on a Saturday night in desperate need of warm food. The restaurant is set up so you write your name and the number of people in your party on a sheet of paper right at the entrance and then wait to get seated. From when we got there to when we left, the turnover was insanely fast, quick seating, service, arrival of food, and back out the door which was exactly what we needed. I got the gijaramen which is a shoyu ramen and I really enjoyed it, it wasn't the best I've ever had but I have no specific complaints. I didn't have the appetite to also order any buns like bulgogi buns but every time an order came out for another table they looked so so good!

First time here today. The food is amazing. The service is lacking but to their credit they are very popular and busy. Definitely recommend to visit but anticipate a wait.
