This has become our go to place not just for Thai, but for comfort food. Dine in or take out- always delicious. Pad Thai, Green Curry, and pork curry are our tops.
One thing that would make this place a 6/5 is if they can officially say their sushi is gluten free— which feels like a really small ask 🙏🏼

Great authentic Thai food! Friendly staff and very clean restaurant. Food was great tasting!
Was taking a bus from NYC to DC that stopped near Stadium Armory. Randomly found this Thai place on Google Maps and ordered duck curry and iced Thai tea. The portion was great and the food tasted really really good! The staff were super friendly as well. Also got a pad see ew with beef for takeaway.

two friends warned me about this place. I have eaten here before and it was nice in teh beginning until I got stale chicken and spoiled vegetables. I ordered the green curry rice with crispy chicken and the chicken was rubbery and stable. Not edible. I will not be returning.

I stopped in here to get away from the heat and I had a pleasant time. The staff were very nice and attentive. I just ordered a Thai tea to help cool down. It was very cold and sweet, perfect for the weather. I wasn’t planning to get some food but the menu was nicely written. I ended up getting the vegetable delight. A very healthy and filling meal. I liked their playlist that they played for the guests. It created a nice vibe. If I’m in the area I will come again.

Sala serves up fresh and tasty authentic Thai cuisine with a warm welcome and a smile. The crab fried rice is a standout.

Food over priced, servers act annoyed when ask for simple things like water or soy sauce and always seem to be on break behind the bar instead of at work. The manager is very rude with zero customer service.

I came back for a second visit after a good first experience a few months ago, but unfortunately, this time was disappointing. I ordered the Pad See Ew with chicken and beef—while the portion size was generous, the dish lacked flavor and sauce, and both meats were overcooked and dry. On the upside, service was quick and efficient. Maybe this was just an off day.

First off super toddler friendly staff and exceptionally clean bathrooms.
No diaper changing station in the bathroom. 🥺
The food was delicious.
The bill automatically included 18% tip, which is fine as the service was top notch. The overall bill came to $77 dollars for the meal. Which was for me and my two year old. So...can me and my clone drop $77 on a meal, on a regular? No. So while the food was delicious and the service top notch, it'll be another year before we go back.
This really isn't a comment about Sala Thai specifically. Rather commentary on the overall economy. As at these prices it turns out it's true, we have food at home.

We ran across this restaurant by chance. It did not disappoint. The service was excellent. A very pleasant and quiet atmosphere. The basil fried rice with chicken was delicious as well as the vegetables with chicken with sauce.

I go here all the time and usually love it, but last night I went rough and got the drunken noodles instead of pad Thai and it gave me food poisoning. I have friends that have also reported food poisoning from the fried rice.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere, which is not my style, was somewhat upscale and sophisticated. Still gave it 5 stars on atmosphere because i can appreciate it even if I don't enjoy it.
What I don't appreciate was the automatic 18% tip added to my bill with the audacity to then ask for another tip on the check with suggested amounts. I forgot to see if those suggested amounts were before or after the automatically added gratuity.
Yes I tip appropriately, but adding it automatically is a bit skeevy in my opinion. This isn't some large, super upscale establishment that one would expect to have an added gratuity.

I’ve had my eye on this place for a while, and I’m so glad I finally stopped by for lunch—it was absolutely amazing! The food and service were on another level. We ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai, Kapow Goong Gai, and the Maryland Crab Roll, and every dish was bursting with flavor. Our waiter, Steve, was incredible—so kind and personable. He not only gave us fantastic food and travel tips for our upcoming trip to Thailand but also taught us how to pronounce and order some of the dishes we loved. It was such a thoughtful touch! I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t recommend this spot highly enough. Plus, it’s super convenient, located right next to the Stadium-Armory metro station. A must-visit!
