1st time at Sala Thai and we weren't disappointed. Hunnieeeee, da calamari is awesome with the sauce, fish n chips on point! BUTTTT da drinks were perfect!!! We never tip on a take out order but the drinks deserved it! We will be back!-Tomorrow!!!

This place was fantastic. Stopped by for dinner on the way home from a work trip. Incredible service. The Tom Kha Soup is amazing. Hit the spot for exactly what I was looking for. The crab rangoons were hands down the best I've ever had. Kudos! Definitely worth stopping by here.

Niq and Rick are the ONLY reason I come here … I’m a business owner out of Florida and I can say they are the only people that have great customer service! They are great at mixing drinks and providing prompt and amazing service in the dmv ! Keep it up you guys it’s a pleasure too be around you all and I hope to see you when I return ! Very casual and fun joint offering a wide array of Thai foods. Both the booth and bar setup give a very casual - hangout feel; as well as the music they play over the speakers.

The food is very good if you are looking to try Thai cuisine. The portions of the food are also quite generous. They also have a bunch of classic western dishes as well for appetizers too, like chicken wings and mussels etc. So if you're not too into thai food, there are dining options to pick from. I personally recommend the drunken noodles.
They have a decent array of drinks to pick from as well, though I settled on a regular Thai tea.

Overall a nice swanky spot if you are looking for a more casual dining experience.

I am blown away. My family and I stopped in for the first time, and we were pleasantly pleased. The service was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The chicken wings were amazing and cooked perfectly. The crispy chicken special with rice and sauce was flavorful and delicious. Also, the amazing server gave our daughter a strawberry housemade lemonade, and it was amazing. We will be back! Support this authentic Thai restaurant, and you won't be disappointed!!

This place is a hidden gem in DC. My first time having it I ordered the basil fried rice for takeout and it was absolutely amazing. I went in yesterday to enjoy some time alone and it was even better in person. The drink selection is great and they taste as good (and as strong) as they look. The service was also amazing and it’s a nice quiet place to enjoy a book with tasty food and drinks on the weekends. The playlist is also a hit.

They have happy hour 3-9 M-F and all day on weekends and they also have a live DJ on Thursdays. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! I wanted to leave my review with an updated happy hour and food menu since there doesn’t seem to be any. If you’re in the area, give this spot a try.

lol I used to come here all the time last summer and I just love this spot and there selective drinks !! Not like the other ones I’ve went to they’re much better !!! Would recommend the spicy basil rice either way beef !! And there pop sticker thingys 🫶🏽🫶🏽♥️. 10/10 customer service is always great !
