First time here. Didn't know which door to open, then get inside and no one greets me, so iam standing there while a black kid is sweeping the floor and a girl that was sitting at the first table goes to the back room. Takes 10 mins to get the guy to ask me if I needed help I was about to walk out when under a soft voice he said something bit I couldn't hear him. I asked for the turkey and bacon sandwich, no bread!!! Ok then I ask for kale Cesar salad. No kale, he looks down and there is a bunch of old kale from the day before. It looked dirty inside and they didn't have anything to serve!!! Why are you open?! I hope corporate looks at this view, horrible first time and never going back! Ps I went in at 1130am.

Server didn’t show good service or was quick with the order even there were no one in the restaurant. Also there weren’t many ingredientes and dressings available

Unfortunately the first and only time I came here, the Greek salad had an overpoweringly bitter nasty taste in one corner of the bowl. Genuinely like someone had put hand sanitizer in it. It was inedible. Hard to want to go back.

First of all they closed the whole store down for whatever reason , online says open I put in a Mobile order went to pick it up both doors are locked ? A worker is standing near the salad station and waves his head no instead of assisting a confused customer on the reason they are closed definitely won’t be back. He needs to learn customer service because that’s not it

Ordered the turkey and cheddar sandwich and luckily I opened it to take the tomatoes off and I find hair all inside my sandwich! Disgusting!!! Check your food thoroughly if you order from here!!! Picture is uploaded on the photos!!

I visited Saladworks in April 2025 while visiting DC with my family. We had the pleasure of meeting Malik. From the moment we walked through the door Malik displayed professionalism and excellent customer service. Malik was welcoming, patient, and hospitable. My mom was unsure what she wanted to order and Malik was patient with us and even gave us recommendations. My mom raved about how delicious her salad was and she couldn’t wait to get another. I’m not a salad person but because my mom raving about how delicious and fresh it was and I decided to give it a try. I went back the next day with my mom and were pleased to be welcomed by Malik. I do have a con about the restaurant the romaine lettuce is mixed with iceberg. I do not I repeat do not like iceberg lettuce and this almost turned me away completely. The two should be separated. Malik recommended I try the kale, spring, and spinach mix instead. Malik was right and created such a delicious grilled chicken caesar salad for me. This was the best one I’ve had. The portions are so massive I usually don’t get full from salads but I was stuffed after this. I had to pause and go back to it later. I’ve never had a salad that was so fresh and packed with flavor. Another con is the desserts like cookies and brownies are only for catering orders. The restaurant was very clean and there are lots of tables and chairs should you decide to dine indoors. The restaurant accepts both cash or card. Should I decide to visit DC in the future I will definitely be visiting SaladWorks and hope to see Malik there.

Unorganized, very unprofessional!!!! Never will I order again!!!

I can’t lie—I was really disappointed for a place with a 4.8 rating. The employees were nice, but the Asian chicken salad and Chipotle chicken sandwich were rough. The bacon bits were hard as rocks, the salad chicken tasted barely thawed, and the panini had cold chicken and dressing.

Usually fresh but after having our orders missing an item every other time we go, I cannot recommend this location. Whether it’s a missing bag of chips or an error with the order itself, there always seems to be something wrong. Unfortunate, because the workers are typically very nice.
