This is a genuine artifact of old Washington— here is this small cozy bar that has connections to the rest of the world thanks to the owners’ charitable venture to build schools around the world. When the live music is going (especially when Stefan is playing the piano with Kevin on the drums) and you are meeting folks from all walks of life, you say this is, this where I want to be every night.
Great beer selection, and I really like the no TV vibe to encourage actual discussions. Also really appreciate that they've given so much support to so many schools over the years.
Great, quiet, neighborhood spot for eclectic moonshine and beer selections and bar food. Operates as a nonprofit and assists with building schools across the world. Been a couple times and just enjoy the atmosphere of the place.
