Sandella’s Flatbread Café

We got this for a lunch at my company and the box with the "vegan" sandwich came with a cookie and chips that had milk in them which is disappointing for those with allergies. Also for the price (about $20 a box) you would think there would be good vegan protein options like tofu and tempeh but the only options are hummus/chickpea based which has some protein but is pretty low. Not great for dietary restrictions. (Edit: I think that you should assume allergies if there are dietary restrictions!)

EDIT: Reply to the reply. The tortilla was chewy like it was old. Fountain beverage wasn't working. No place to sit there. My buffalo chicken wrap just wasn't great. The quesadilla was pretty good though!

In the food court. Food was so so, nothing to write home about. Good portion sizes, but the pesto pizza is not pesto. Do not be deceived as we were. The pesto is a creamy white sauce and does not taste like pesto. The chicken fajita quesadilla is good. The atmosphere was.. interesting. Not very restaurant-esque.

I ate here with 5 other family members. The meals were tasty and of ample size. The service was slower than I expected but preparing 6 meals at one time was probably the culprit. The restaurant is adjacent to the mall hallway.

I HIGHLY recommend this location! Today was my first time ordering and going to the location in person … this was a suggestion from an office and I must say, hands down, I will order again! Rosa is amazing! The food was delicious and I clearly see why it was recommended!I initially placed an order online and received a text message that it was cancelled! Soon after, Rosa called me directly and we worked through the issue and she made a miracle happen! She was also helpful with me finding the location as I paid to park in a garage and she gave me detailed instructions. She came in, helped prepare all items in a timely manner and again, we enjoyed ALL of it! I will be back… thanks again Rosa!

There are a lot of people I've met and food I've eaten in the DC area and by far this is one of the best places to eat. This family owned restaurant is everything from quality of food, service and care. THE FOOD IS AMAZING ❤️❤️❤️. You can tell it's made with love and passion. Sandellas is one of the best places to get a bite of healthy food that's fresh and organic ingredients. The Flatbreads and Paninis melt in your mouth. It's a beautiful thing when a family operated restaurant pours there heart and soul into the food they make. If you haven't tried this place yet, definitely make it on your top priority list when visiting rhw DC area. This is by far the best restaurant I've been too in years. You gotta try it.And also the organic turkey chili is out of this world . I was blown away.Thank you Sandellas for all that you do !!

Was rude when simply asking for a straw. Threw the straw on the counter. If you really aren’t allowed to give out straws to non paying customers that’s fine but there’s no need to be rude. I was nice and even said thank you. Edit: That still doesn’t call for the rudeness, also just giving a straw isn’t service. You could have simply said no we only serve customers with a smile, not a mean mug. Have a nice day :)
