We had a good time here. The DJs were great, and the food trucks were good. I liked the atmosphere and the people.
Let me start off by saying that I really wanted tolike this place. I went yesterday on the 31st of May based off of a post on Instagram. The post advertised that they would have two food trucks (jerk at nite and another one). They also said there would be two DJs. This was false, there was one food truck that was a Jamaican cuisine, and they only had one option. The bartenders were nice but they never made any comment of the advertised food truck’s absence. Also, the “drinks” were pre-mixed, “on the rocks” brand. You had the option to buy an extra shot of whatever to add to the pre-mixed beverage. For a 375ml bottle they were charging 45 dollars plus a 20% mandatory gratuity. Im actually not really upset about the price of the bottle, but 20 percent gratuity is definitely over the top. I’m not a cheap tipper by any means, but I felt like this was absolutely ridiculous to say the least. I can understand business tactics and all but I honestly feel that this was clearly another black owned business taking advantage of their own community.
If you build it
Amazing location and great vibes whether you are attending an event or dropping by to have a drink!
Great place to stop through for an outdoor drink with friends, grab some food from local food trucks and pop-up kitchens (rotating schedule), and chill out to some great music! Love that their mission is to give minority-owned food vendors a venue to reach the community. Felt like a block party.
Always a great time!
We tried the drinks and the half smoked chicken!! It was excellent ! With the added bonus of the DJ and the dancing atmosphere... we'll be back!
We tried the new Filipino barbecue place there and the chicken was amazing while the beef was unchewable. This was maybe the second week they were open.
The food was DELICIOUS!!!! Gorgeous plants were being sold at $5 minimum. Family friendly and just a good time overall.
A little too expensive for what it is…

Fun vibe, lots of dancing i probably would've join in if i hadn't been so tired! Good drinks, little miner food truck was there so a+ food. The citystate beer i had was alright. Employees were very attentive, coming over often to check in and clear our bottles - wasn't expecting any service at all beyond the register, so it was a nice change from most bev gardens!
Stopped by as we were walking by and this spot is so cool. It’s been an empty eye sore for the longest time so it’s great to see it looking good. The drinks are hands down amazing!! The Purple drink was everything I would dream for in a cold-pressed cocktail. They have complimentary dog treats and shortbread cookies - all loved! We didn’t eat food because it was a little hot but will def be back after sunset for more Purple and some wings! All the team members were so nice and friendly, they made you feel like a regular.
This place is a vibe. We came after dinner at Bourbon steakhouse and had a great time. My aunt and a friend were in town for my aunt’s birthday and we wanted to have a a quick post-dinner drink. This was the best decision. The DJ was excellent, the drinks were delicious and the people were even better. Also, we enjoyed how they are giving exposure to local restaurants!
Service was immaculate! The bartender (Julio) was such a pleasure. All my needs and wants were met. The vibe was top notch. Music was killer! Def 10/10! Will go back!
Love the injection of culture into Georgetown. ?? I remember when this used to be an eyesore of a gas station and love the vibes there now. Britney (the hostess?) was lovely as were the ppl (and omg the soul food/seafood) at the food truck. Thanks for the good times!
