$8 for this small portion of mediocre Mac & Cheese is crazy.. & I also got a large j*** chicken.. it was very bad.. I couldn't even identify what part of the chicken I was eating.

I decided to come in to support this restaurant base upon the rank 4.5….. this place was a perfect to get there, their food was SO DAMN GOOD?. I was in love with the my order. OMG just perfect. The coca bread was warm, plantains was cooked perfectly, cabbage & carrots was cooked with great seasonings (not too much salt) rice & beans was outstanding light and moist, the sorrel was very good but the j*** wings was so damn good, how mercy… craving it for more already within 24 hours.I’m proud and bless to meet the married couple that owns this spot…you would be greatly pleased…

Is this restaurant still in business??The phone number listed on the site does not work and there is no website to go to. It says the website is shut down.

We ordered the shrimp curry, j*** chicken, ginger juice, and sorrel juice. Everything was delicious. My favorite was the shrimp curry. The chicken fell off the bone. The homemade fresh juices were refreshing and flavorful. Will be coming back here soon!

I love this place! I almost don't want to share about it because it is such a hidden gem in the Petworth community. You can come on a Friday night and not only do they have a DJ that actually plays good music. Sometimes, they even have a live band and it's never overly crowded. They also make the absolute best ginger beer. It's so addictive I had to take home a jug. The food is also delicious and you can place an order up until midnight, dance, and have a ginger beer or cocktail. It does take a while to get your food because they make everything fresh to order and you can tell. I've never had a bad experience with my food other than it being so much I can never finish it. But I eat leftovers! The owner is so nice and he will customize a drink to your liking. The vibes here are always nice and super friendly. I can't believe it's not packed out on a Friday night so I go and enjoy myself without the crowds and negative vibes of some of these overated lounges. Don't sleep on this place it's such a great vibe in the community for everyone.

I had their j*** chicken Alfredo pasta and I was entirely disappointed. The chicken barely had j*** flavor and the pasta sauce was so greasy that I threw up. They charge $7 for coco bread that’s stale. I’ve gotten coco bread at other spots for much less and it tastes way more fresh. Overwhelmingly disappointed because I was looking forward to trying their dish.

Food is delicious but the wait time is brutal. Well worth the wait though. That j*** chicken & shrimp pasta is on 1000!

Bizomb. You have to try this spot. Authentic Caribbean cuisine. J*** wings are beast. They have a steak and cheese on coco bread... my lawd. The sorrel is authentic and strong. The cabbage is fresh. The callilou is tender and flavorful. The curry is deep and thick. This is a bit of the islands, get some!

With no great expectations, I went here on a Friday evening and ordered the j*** chicken and shrimp pasta and a side of coco bread. With the first bite, I couldn't believe the way my taste buds were dancing. This was the best j*** chicken and shrimp pasta I had ever had. Not only was it super flavorful, it was loaded with jumbo shrimp and the tastiest j*** chicken. This pasta dish was better than every pasta dish I have had at a high-end restaurant. I can't say enough about how they nailed it with this dish. I can't stand a bland pasta dish and the flavor profile of this dish exceeded my expectations. The coco bread was also fresh and delicious. My cousin said it was the best coco bread she ever had. I'm ashamed I passed this place so many times wasting money and carbohydrates on subpar restaurants and didn't think to try it. They have some of the best darn Caribbean food in the DMV. I will never sleep on a small restaurant in the neighborhood again.

The Caribbean fare is awesome, with drinks to match. Club events are common with great DJ's hosting weekly events...Highly recommend...
