I love this place!! I get takeout here pretty often and it was the first place I decided to try when I came to DC. They have such flavorful food and they know exactly what I’m looking for when I ask for Thai spicy. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious, well priced Thai food. Always delicious!!!

I'm a regular here! I love their pad thai, green curry, panang curry, and drunken noodles; I am constantly torn on which to order that particular visit. As a warning, I do not recommend the cashew chicken. That was the only dish I've tried that I did not like, though!

The foods are great, first time try Drunken Noodle and it was fantastic. Sanphan Toddy are recommended too, very cozy for a winter day.

The service was great, they were quick to get drinks and food out. The food was good, we would go back if we were in the area
Cocktails were awesome food was fantastic! Service was expeditious and friendly. Would definitely go back again
Do NOT order take out from this restaurant. I ordered drunken noodles in-person for take out, and the amount of food I received was shockingly sparse. Even with the scant amount of beef and noodles, the order was bulked mostly with bell peppers and onions. I sent the photo to the manager who responded by stating that this is their standard lunch order. “If you’d like a bigger serving next time, I’d recommend trying our dinner portion.” There is no advertising on their menu (in print and online) for a lunch or dinner option. And why would I order a “dinner option” 12:45 in the afternoon??
I understand restaurants are going through a tight squeeze at the moment, but they should not be cutting corners and manipulating customers when it comes to food delivery. It’s unfair to restaurants who are putting in the hard work and are being honest. Food was fine otherwise.

Don’t know where or how this got into my food But I am highly disappointed. My drunken noodle had some sort of Brillo pad metal string in it that if i have not noticed, could have caused me major health problems
Pad thai is very sweet. Maybe a bit too much sugar.

Restaurantji Recommends
Excellent vegan and gluten-free options, super friendly and willing to modify and know what both of those things mean. Delicious food, I love the noodle dishes and the spicy eggplant especially.

I don’t recommend the Duck basil but my other friends liked their dishes.
I came here 2 years ago last time I visited DC for a random lunch and it was so good that I came back today on my trip to DC. Can’t go wrong with the classic drunken noodles, pad se ew, or green curry. Everything is so flavorful and dependable!!! I recommend this place for a casual bite if you’re craving thai.

I had high hopes when I went to Sanphan.I love thai food.I ordered the duck basil & spring roll . Both dishes were bland. I experimented with trying the basil duck and was disappointed. Normally, I will give a restaurant at least 2 chances, Before deciding not to go back. Due to experiencing gastric pain and diarrhea 3 to 4 hours later, I will not go back.

Cashew chicken was good. Pad Thai was too sweet.
