Great starting point before going to a show. Dinner and shakes

Love it here... nice atmosphere. Bomb milk shakes. There sunroom is the best. Wish they allowed reserved seating though.

Great bar attached to a great music venue! Friendly staff, good beer selection, and surprisingly good pizza. And they have a good happy hour and fun events like drag bingo. And don't forget the adult milkshakes! Although those are good for sharing, for those of us who don't necessarily want to have a whole milkshake by ourselves.

Really disappointed in this Satellite Room. I stopped by here as part of the Beerathon even last weekend. I'd been meaning to check them out for a while, and this was the perfect opportunity! I saved this place for last because of a rave review of their vegan wings. There were minimal vegan options listed on their menu when I arrived. I ordered my beers, which were supposed to be 6 ounces each, and I got about 2 ounces each.

I friggin love this bar! Decent beer selections, delicious boozy milkshakes and just a fun environment. Great before and/or after a slow at 9:30 Club

A low key chill bar in the U street area that isn't overwhelming or crowded. I usually avoid U street since it's scary with ambulances around every corner but this place is tucked away behind the 9:30 club and has really chill video game bar vibes. The video games are also FREE so you don't have to show up with a ton of coins in your pocket to play. They also have pretty cheap drinks that are closer to happy hour prices and great pizza that makes for a good late night menu. It's a great place to sit and catch up with friends as it's not too loud and you don't have to yell over the music. I'm definitely going to add this place to my rotation whenever I go out near U street. Check out the Satellite Room if you get a chance!

So sad that they took away Tator Tots and Boozy Milkshakes. it was my favorite place to come and get buffalo tots, will definitely be visiting less often now

In town for the weekend from Philly and my boyfriend and I were looking for a spot to watch the Eagles game. This was the first spot we came across from our AirBnB and we were greeted so warmly by the bartender (DC people are hella nice in comparison to Philly people lol) he made us feel welcomed. We ordered wings and they came out late due to an error but the bartender and another were hospitable and treated us to two slices and two shots. Really good pizza! Also can't beat anything if it's for free. They had karaoke going on and also have pool tables. I was in love with the neon sign above the bar and it gave a very homey vibe.

Personable bartenders, great bar food - pizza and wings.

French toast here is out of this world! They use thick bread so it tastes a lot better than the thin sliced bread.

I truly enjoyed this place... We had pizza with sausage, fennel and mushrooms... Excellent choice... I only wished the sausage wasn't cut into slices... Otherwise I had a great time drinking beer and eating pizza... While waiting to see The Bones, Glorious Sons and The Struts!

Cool space, we attended a Pride trivia night put on by Alliance for Justice. Awesome and safe queer space. We ordered a pizza, it was good, but it was just a touch over cooked. Even so, it seemed like that was purposeful, because it gave the pizza a distinct, crispy taste.

Satellite Room is a late-night hot spot that serves comfort food (such as light bites, salads, pizzas, and subs) and craft beverages (such as beer, wine, and boozy milkshakes) in a hip atmosphere.

Satellite Room is a late-night hot spot that serves comfort food (such as light bites, salads, pizzas, and subs) and craft beverages (such as beer, wine, and boozy milkshakes) in a hip atmosphere. Upon entry, the security guard checked our IDs. The walls are decorated with pop culture references. In the back, there are arcade games (including a claw machine that you could win a shot of whiskey, beer, slice of pizza, whole pizza, or boozy milkshake). Since they could only make high end rail drinks, I got the rotating cider, which was a ginger saison. It was light in alcohol content, sweet, bubbly, spicy, and had a strong ginger flavor.
