Every time I go to Georgetown I stop here for lunch! Absolute favorite sandwich place and made sure to take all of my friends. The owner was so helpful even though the cooks were out! Love it so much.

Love these small, quint establishments. Food was excellent and I really like their menu. Outside dining in the back looked very nice.

To be fair, the pastrami sandwich was solid, though the corn soup was water-based and heavily herbed, I think I just expected a dynamite sandwich and a chowder based on the reviews. My issue was with the atmosphere yesterday morning. It began beautifully as I took a table overlooking the garden as my food was being prepared. Besides me there was just the hostess (I assume owner) and a group of chatting moms. Then, a new voice entered the conversation, and the conversation turned to the Israel-Hamas war. "But innocent people were mutilated," one of the women says. Things get more graphic. Then the original voice says "well to me they are freedom fighters and it is ok!" I look over, and the voice that's instigating and defending Hamas in this conversation is the OWNER.I understand people share differing political views, but the atmosphere of this place felt like it went from Alice in Wonderland to a Hamas rally by the owner in ten minutes. I left in disgust because of the feeling I got as it changed from my Aunts living room to a victim-blaming frat house one week into geopolitics 101. Probably would've been 4 stars if I'd had my headphones in.

Same delicious, comforting food in an even nicer location. We're so happy Say Cheese and Susie re-emerged.

I stopped in for a coffee and ended up getting an amazing quiche as well. Fresh dripped coffee and great, clean atmosphere in Georgetown.

I don’t like when I’m coming somewhere new for the first time and the lady taking orders is rude and in a bad mood, not accommodating or interested in giving good service, just getting everyone in and out the door, and it was not that busy. I asked if she had egg sandwiches with turkey sausage and she said so you want the grilled cheese with pesto and turkey sausage? And I was like no I don’t. Basically a glorified cafe that does nothing customized - typical Georgetown establishment. I would never waste your time coming here.

My daughter & I visited this eatery on our trip to DC and absolutely loved everything about it! We got the chicken 1 sandwich & the Greek Goddess, along w/ tomato soup & quinoa chili, & lemonade! Everything was fresh & near perfect. And the owner was delightful to talk to. Wish we had something like this where we live!

Super cute and delicious lunch spot in Georgetown! We tried the Brie & Apple grilled cheese, Sloppy Joe grilled cheese, and Tomato soup. They were all so delicious! The restaurant itself has plenty of seating and has a French bistro vibe. The service is a little slow so do expect a bit of a wait. Will be back when shopping in Georgetown!

Very tiny restaurant with great atmosphere. I had the Greek salad and chicken soup. The soup was steaming hot and had chicken vegetables and broth, it was delicious. The salad was fresh and pretty decent. This place is just off M street and it's a good thing there was a sandwich board sign out front because I wouldn't have even noticed it.

Say Cheese breakfast omelet taste so good and looks pretty. I will definitely come back again if I'm in DC. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Excellent grilled cheese and tomato soup! Prices were reasonable for the area. Service was a little slow as it's a one woman shop but if you're not in a hurry it's definitely worth a stop for lunch.
