Awesome place to get lunch with boba! Our family of four each ordered a different croissant sandwich and boba drink, and everything was so good! Highly recommended!

Updated: Carol reached out to me regarding my previous review. Having to come from LA to visit a 4.0-rated boba place definitely has caught my attention and I had high expectations. She admitted the drink that was made (strawberry matcha latte) was an error on her team's end, and asked us to give SecreTea another try. We are glad that we did, as Carol & Greg was open to our suggestions and recommendations. It definitely tasted better than the previous visit we had encountered. Thank you, Carol, for your customer service and your willingness to make sure your customers are satisfied. We hope to visit again soon!

Oolong milk tea bucket! This is the bomb and best boba I've ever had in my life! 10 out of 10 would recommend

Burnt tea, soapy aloe, little flavor. Do not recommend. White peach tea was bitter and looked questionably cloudy. They also add a convenience fee for ordering on the kiosk. I will never come back.

I ordered the Ginger Brown Sugar Milk Tea and intended to also order the Pineapple Matcha after seeing the Yelp Valentine's Day deal where it stated Secretea had a buy one item, get any other item for free. Upon arriving at Secretea, we saw that the offer had changed from buy any item, get another for free to buy a special Valentine's Day drink and get a secret milk tea drink for free. That was no big deal; the Valentine's Day drink looked cool, albeit more expensive than their ordinary drinks. After asking an employee how we could redeem the offer, we were told that he wasn't sure how it worked either and that he would need more confirmation from his manager on the following Monday. We had come on a Friday evening. I had driven from VA to DC specifically for this Yelp deal that was advertised as being valid from February 1st to February 29th. It's quite frustrating to drive all this way, sit in traffic, and pay to park only to be told to come back another day. I did still end up ordering the Ginger Brown Sugar Milk Tea. The ginger flavor was very prominent in the drink, and the boba was cooked nicely. I would recommend getting full sweetness with the drink to help balance out the strong ginger flavor. All in all, it was a good experience, boba-wise, but a letdown service-wise. I don't believe that a deal should be advertised only to be later changed and then not enforced at all.

Great little boba, drink and pastry shop. I've only had the bubble tea and it's always been great. The workers are kind as well. Just know that they put a lot of sugar, to the point that at 100% sugar all the flavors taste basically the same. Aside from that, it's a great place that I would recommend (and takes GWorld!)

My favorite boba place in the DMV!!! Everyone must try this place, from the seasonal drinks to the staples this place creates everything to visual and tasty perfection. Pro tip: try the cake shake with tapioca pearls, you won't regret it.

Overall 3.5 rating. I got a large hot Oolong milk tea with boba (50% sweetness) for $6.45 (tax included). This place only had large (default) and giant (extra cost).Unfortunately, 50% sweetness here was still too sweet for me. The milk flavor overpowered the oolong tea and the boba was mushy.Place has great reviews though so I would recommend folks try a different drink.Coming from the Bay Area with lots of boba shops, this place didn’t match up to the quality I expected for the price.

My favorite bubble tea on this side of DC! I love all the flavors and that they change up the menu for the seasons. Always such nice workers and cute atmosphere. Also a decent price for bubble tea compared to elsewhere/georgetown etc.

First time in DC and loving it. My daughter found thus place after a nice walk at the Capitol of United States. We had the pulled pork croissant and it's amazing even though it's slightly salty. Still recommend to anyone ??

I had seen this place on Tik Tok and was hoping to try the Ramen Boba that people posted about but I didn't see it there at the time. I ordered an Osmanthus Oolong Tea with Boba and Strawberry Heart Jelly. The strawberry hearts are my absolute favorite and not everywhere offers it so I had to include some in my drink. It was very refreshing and not too sweet. The boba had the perfect texture and consistency. The barista was very nice and the store was so cute and I loved the bearbrick at the entrance. Definitely one of my favorite boba shops in the area now! :)

A small bubble milk tea shop near the GWU campus that is a hidden gem. Besides their delicious milk tea flavors (although their tea could be stronger) and perfectly chewy pearls/boba, what I think they excel at are their croissants. We tried their boba croissant and their monk temple tofu croissant, both of which were quite delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice and they decorate for each season (and have seasonal drinks). There's limited seating inside and a few tables outside, so most people usually have orders to go. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, although there are 2 kiosks as well from which one can place an order. Another specialty of theirs is the rabbit foam that can top a drink. Unfortunately, they weren't able to do that when we came, but otherwise, for $3 it adds a cool aesthetic. Note that their secret milk tea is a version of black tea with their own blend of milk (simple syrup and milk). It was on the sweeter side even with 50% sugar, so take heed.
