I got a mocktail from the zero proof list and it was an obnoxiously overflowing, egregiously over priced cup of ice. Bar tender proceeded to pat the snowball of ice he was building atop the cup’s rim with his bare hands while grabbing my card for payment and handing me the check book. Extremely unsanitary and unnecessary. $14+ cup of ice with an auto gratuity is unbelievable. Photo included does not show the height of the snowball of ice that was on the glass but does illustrate a bit of the scale of ice. What type of drink is this
My husband and I love the drinks there. The staff is super friendly I don't drink very much so they really helped me through the menu.

Host was incredibly rude and sarcastic! Was planning to use my Chase Sapphire Reserve credits here, but I will gladly use it anywhere else.

We had the best time yesterday! Chad, Jordyn, and the entire staff at Service Bar is phenomenal and I'm so grateful for such a wonderful evening
Watch your bill- we visited as part of Chase Sapphire Tables and an employee added an extra $20 on top of our dinner bill AND the included gratuity. Had to dispute with Chase, no response from management.
Edit- appreciate the response from management, hope this was an honest mistake, still it happened and I called and left a VM days later with no reply. From out of town so won’t be back but appreciate the gesture.

Really enjoyed having dinner here the other night. It was competitive to get a table, but we were able to because we walked up right when the doors open. The fried chicken was some of the better chicken I’ve had in DC, perfect crunch, not dry. (I had it spicy and the spice level was ideal - heat without losing flavor). If you want to treat yourself get a glass of champagne with it. I took advantage of a happy hour pisco punch (solid pisco and a good HH deal at $9 I believe), and then I tried one of the gorgeous bird inspired cocktails, the Kiwi, coming in at a cool $19. Worth it at least once for the presentation, which over performed, and for the cocktail itself that had a unique flavor profile without being overly strong or distracting. Really enjoyed it and will be back at some point.

We had a reservation outside on a very chilly night. They have heaters but it was still really cold because the patio isn't enclosed. We got there at 530 on a Saturday night and it was packed inside so we couldn't move inside. The food was awesome, the drinks were delicious and our server was great. Looking forward to going again when it's warmer.
We got there just after opening so we didn't have to sit outside. It filled up quickly. We had some fun drinks and food. I especially liked the drink special for dessert. It was like cocoa with mezcal. Yum. The carrots, mushrooms and chicken sandwich were all good.
Always a wonderful time at Service Bar, but the addition of the bird menu is so fun and creative! I look forward to seeing them try other unique themes in the future. The food is always 10/10 and they might have some of the best chicken in the city.

Not bad but I had my son with me and you have to be 21 to even eat inside. Otherwise you have to sit outside. Service was good and food was good though. No complaints other than that.
Definitely a cool vibe, drinks are cool and the food is good!! Service was also a plus! In the winter months dress warm if you are sitting outside on the patio, they do have warmers on though. I will be coming back, loved it!
We ate here using our CSR- reserved outdoor patio but it was closed understandably and we were seated inside. The chicken fingers are the best I ever had- special sauce is delightful. Their drink menu is creative and diverse- probably a little elevated for my basic tastebuds... Overall a good value for a casual and delicious bar night.
I almost don’t want to write this because I’d love to keep this place a secret. Service Bar is that good. The drinks are adventurous but always delicious, the food outshines most restaurants in DC, and the simplicity of it all somehow makes it even better. Yes, it’s a loud, lively bar with limited seating—but the energy is unmatched and the playlist doesn’t miss.
We really enjoyed yourselves!
