I found this restaurant to be very welcoming and hospitable. The food was great. It was also excellent value. There were also great vibes during karaoke. It was a blast.

Was invited for the happy hour scene and it did not disappoint at all! Prompt service, great portion & quality of my order. DJ's present played good music, tying things together for those who weren't watching games on the TV's.

What was supposed to be a quick visit to check out the place turned into one of the best girls’ nights out ever! The food was absolutely to die for — that Nigerian-Caribbean fusion had us ooohing and aaahing with every bite and sip. OB and Chef Chris came out to greet us personally and made us feel so welcome. The music, energy, flavors, and hospitality were all top-notch — 10/10 we’ll definitely be back!

This Jamaican-Nigerian fusion restaurant was absolutely amazing from start to finish! The food was bursting with flavor the perfect blend of rich African spices and bold Caribbean seasonings. Every dish was cooked to perfection and full of personality. The drinks were top-notch, refreshing, and beautifully made.
What really stood out was the hospitality. OB, personally greeted us and made us feel so welcome, like family. The chef even came out to check on our table, which made the experience feel extra special you can tell they truly care about their guests and take pride in what they do.
The atmosphere was lively, the music was great, and the entire vibe was unmatched. If you’re looking for good food, good drinks, and even better energy, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!

I had my 55th birthday celebration here .....let me say it was so Amazing from the start to finish....I would love to thank Tony and his Amazing staff for making my family comfortable and welcoming.....from the food to the Ambience of the establishment.....just perfect!!!! Couldn't and wouldn't change one thing ....thanks again Tony for making my special day the best everrrr!!!!!!
I have visited Seta Oasis four times. The first two were fantastic with excellent food, great atmosphere, and attentive service (a solid 4.5 stars). Unfortunately, my last two visits have been deeply disappointing.
On my third visit, the server (Natasha) ran payment through a handheld device without providing a printed check. This hid the mandatory gratuity by showing only “tip” instead of “additional tip.” While I knew gratuity was included, it confused my dining partner, led to an awkward cash app exchange, and soured the experience. I raised this to management the next day, and they apologized and promised to make it right.
When I returned, the experience was worse. Natasha ignored me throughout, and the server who stepped in (Kia) became confrontational after interacting with her. Natasha still handled my food despite refusing to serve me, which was unsettling. Kia resisted when I asked for management, told me to sit down when I stood up to hear her, removed the agreed compensation, and processed my payment on the handheld without giving me a receipt. I had to call out across the room just to confirm payment, only to hear her dismissively tell staff, “he already paid.” Not providing a receipt is unprofessional and a regulatory violation.
I want to emphasize that I support Seta Oasis as a small Black owned business, and the food and vibe are excellent. My interactions with the chef have been a delight. But when servers responsible for the main area(s) dismiss customers, mishandle transactions, or retaliate after a complaint, it destroys trust. I truly hope management addresses this, because the food and atmosphere deserve better than the service I experienced on my last two visits.

I gotta start with how disappointed I was with the Rasta pasta. Once it came out and I saw all the Parmesan cheese on it, I knew it wasn’t gnna be right. I did see a review about it that said exactly what it was going to taste like but I decided to try it on my own. It was literally a basic Alfredo pasta. It lacked sauce and flavor sadly. I want my money back lol I also got the jerk chicken nachos which was not bad. That I would try again. The music selection and vibes were good.

The ambience is amazing, service is not so pleasant with the waitresses. Since the new owners have been here the atmosphere is amazing, good music, and mature people. The service for food , needs improvement, it took almost 15 minutes to get some sauce that never came until we had to haunt down someone. The nachos was tasteless, the wings could have some more flavor. The Irie stickers were good.

Overcharged for my order and refused to listen when I asked that it was corrected. I placed my order online the total was 29 dollars, when I came to pick it up they asked for 42, confused I checked the order and saw that the receipt showed they were giving me waffle fries (12$!!) and I checked my phone again to confirm that I placed an order for regular fries (6$), they refused to correct this. Best part is once I opened up the food it was just the regular fries all along, which were soggy and had no seasoning at all I might add, all for 12$ when advertised as 6$.

Sets Oasis is a must-visit for authentic Jamaican food in DC! We had the curry chicken, jerk chicken, and oxtails which were all packed with flavor, tender, and cooked to perfection. I actually found this spot through the InKind app (great savings!) and I’m so glad I did. This place is the real deal—will definitely be back next time we are in DC!

We live right next to them and they are horrible neighbors who do not respect noise ordinances.
Edit: This is now the next weekend and the restaurant has not relented and their noise levels are again exceedingly loud.
