Decent price for a casual environment; picked at a Caesar salad + grilled shrimp, and some pasta. Mild flavor. Nothing crazy. Use Nespresso pods, so I don’t recommend any coffee focused foods.

In short: this place has gross food and even nastier customer service. When my friend booked this spot for brunch recently, I was weary because the service was so abysmal the last time I went with a couple friends for dinner. I decided to be open minded and give it another chance because I figured the bad experience was situational due to the fact that we were seated outside, and that the waitress was clearly working way too many tables. I regret not trusting my gut and going back, as I quickly learned the issue is clearly systemic. For brunch, my friends and I were seated inside and ignored for 20 minutes without so much as a greeting, then we waited another 20 minutes without anyone taking our order despite being in plain sight of the waitress and asking the hostess three times to be served. When she finally took our food order, she never came back to refill our waters or drinks (by the way, my glass had a disgusting lipstick stain — pay attention to detail when you’re setting the tables with glassware — that’s so nasty…) so I attempted just to cancel our orders after about 45 minutes of frustration and being treated like a burden by the staff. The waitress said she couldn’t cancel our food orders, and that there was allegedly no manager on the premises to speak to. So we paid for the food we didn’t even eat and left after about an hour sitting there drinking one glass of warm, sugar-filled “mimosa juice” and paying about $50 each for food we didn’t want that wasn’t served until we asked to cancel the order. I would sooner go to McDonald’s for brunch rather than ever step foot in this horrible establishment again. The food sucks too, but that could be made up for with good service. I have literally nothing positive to say about this place. Save your money and just don’t go.

Overpriced mediocre food, my pizza was on par with Quiktrip pizza, it took an hour and a half to get my food, bread is $6.00, and then they put a tip onto your receipt regardless of party size and then expect you to tip on top of it
I visited DC from out of town and chose this restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately, our server charged us for items we never received. Specifically we got charged an extra calamari and pasta entree which totaled almost $50. Because it was very busy that evening, we didn’t notice the mistake until the next day.
I called the restaurant multiple times, but every call went straight to voicemail and their voicemail box is always full. I then emailed photos of the receipt but never received a response. A few weeks later, I finally reached someone named Maria, but she couldn’t understand what I was explaining and hung up. All subsequent calls again went to voicemail.
This has been an extremely unprofessional experience. I understand that mistakes happen, but the complete lack of follow-up and inability to resolve a simple billing issue highlights a serious gap in their customer service process.

This is our go-to Italian restaurant in D.C. Every dish is excellent and the service is good. The ambiance is good for a quiet meal, conversation and is romantic. We have tried several dishes and have been pleased with every one.
Food was amazing ❤️

Wow! Has this place gone downhill. Let’s start with the hair we found in our food. We said nothing because it looked like my sisters hair only to have a friend tell me they also found a long blonde hair in their food that weekend as well. The Cesar salad was made with soggy lettuce. The chicken parm was cold and served with lukewarm potatoes and broccoli and the vodka pasta was spicy even beyond my standards. I was left reaching for my glass of water. The glass of wine I ordered definitely came from a bottle that was opened a week ago. Do NOT go here.

Service was terrible but the food was great. They did not have our reservation on their tablet.

We came here for before 7pm for dinner. We had our appetizer, but we waited for an hour and our pasta never showed up. The waitress came and check on us 2 times and I told her we are still waiting for our min dishes. This is unacceptable.

Sat outside for happy hour and the waitress barely acknowledged us during our time here. We sat for long durations before we were checked in on or able to order food and drink. The main room clearly is prioritized.

Food was ok. Hard to really enjoy bec we waited over an hour for our food. We had an indoor reservation, got there at 7pm (time of reservation) and were told it would 10-15 minutes wait. We agreed to sit outside. It took over 30 mins to take our order. Over an hour to receive our drinks. We had to complain bec the table next to us got their bread before we did. We were told they were short staffed. Food started coming after we complained. left the restaurant 2 hrs later. Even the check took a long time. And they had the audacity to charge 20% gratuity for a “large party” when it was just 4 of us. Terrible experience. We're very easygoing people usually and don't complain but this was something else. I think this restaurant's manager was MIA and should've closed the outside seating or limited people coming in if they were short staffed.
Generally have had good experiences here but the last couple times, made me think of probably not returning. Very sad as it used to be a decent place to eat. Services was Bad, it’s like they don’t really care about their guest, or they have just given up. Hope they get their act together. Wish them well, but probably won’t go back again.
