We waited a literal hour before we even ORDERED our food. I am extremely understanding of the service industry but our server didn’t even apologize or acknowledge once how awful the service was. Food was nothing special so will not be returning. Probably the worst service I’ve had in DC.

The food was good. All of my guests could agree to this. The service was terrible. Between being seated for over 2 hours and the servers never checking on us. My party of 3 was the only people in there for those hours. They were bickering back in forth in Spanish. I had to stand for the bill, they instantly walked away. In which I had to get up with my card and find someone to pay. We had already been seated for 2+ hours just waiting. After our first course my guest tried to order a pizza and the male server got so mad at her. He stormed off. NO ONE else was in the restaurant. So I thought wow they must be closing. He then sends the bartender lady over to take my friends order which she is insisting she no longer wants the pizza. All in all- the pizza was bland and the servers needed additional training.

To say this was a disappointing experience is an understatement. We waited about 10 minutes to be sat, and other 10 minutes to be served. When our server, Mirjana M arrived to the table she was very dismissive & rude. Just a simple “Are you ready to order?” We ordered a sprite, and as we’re trying to order more drinks, she walked away. We didn’t even get the sprite. At that point, I realized she simply didn’t care. My appetite went away and I just wanted the check. To get the check, I had to wait for her at the door. This was truly a horrible experience & I hope the restaurant can better itself.

Manager is more worried about taking videos of how crowded it is over looking over his staffers and guest. Takes about 30-45 mins to get a drink. Totally forget about getting a 2nd round. It just won’t happen. After 45 mins after ordering 2nd drink, it came out when the check came. Not kidding. Then they tried to charge us. So had to spend more time discussing that with them. There was a reason why this place had an open reservation within a week. It’s just not going to make it in DC. Should be closed in 6 months.

We sat for over 20 minutes and no one came to our table, we had to hunt down staff….. then we order a bottle of wine and it took 30 minutes to bring the bottle over. My husband ordered a vodka soda, orange slice, they brought limes… no big deal. He reminded the server and they brought the orange slice AFTER he finished the drink.Btw if you want to have a conversation, you will be yelling.HorribleOh and at an Italian restaurant, no complimentary bread.ID NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.Oh and the manger was so worried about filming the crowded restaurant instead of helping his employees. Idk why people come here
Great location, good atmosphere. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. I don't understand why they call it Osteria, though. I didn't see any dish in the menu with oysters (or I missed it). Prices were ok. The service was horrible. Nobody in the restaurant as you can see in the pictures and nobody in reception at 5:45 pm. We saw 4 people talking in the back. Finally a guy sent us to a table where later they had a party of 20. Super loud. To take our order, it took about 10 minutes, a couple of guys were on the phone texting, and nobody came to our table. A lady was our server, and she came to check on us a couple of times. Until the big party started, she forgot about us. We wanted desert, but it took too long, and I had to get up and call for the check. Then our server showed up to take our desert order, but I said she was too late, that I ordered the check already. Evidently, that didn't like it and went to confront the guy who prepared the check. Very unprofessional. I'm not coming back to that place.

There seemed to be only one waitress for the whole restaurant at Sunday brunch, so we were waiting long periods between being served. Our order was missing multiple dishes. Ultimately, I would not recommend this establishment.

The service was so slow we had to get up and find someone to take our order (and we were the only people in the restaurant) and at the end of the meal, gave up waiting for the server and left before dessert. The food was not impressive. The DI INDIVA BELGA salad (Belgium Endive, Arugula, Walnuts, Pear, Gorgonzola Dolci) was a large pile of arugula with scant other ingredients - although it was very tasty dressing, it was not as described. The CALAMARI ALLA GRIGLIA did not taste as though it was grilled (and no visible sign of grilling) and was almost cold when served. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The service was absolutely abysmal, from the servers' careless attitude to receiving little more than a drink for bottomless. I strongly advise against visiting this place. We were served one and a half glasses of mimosa for a supposedly bottomless option. To make matters worse, our waiter seemed more preoccupied with chatting on the phone than attending to our needs. It's unacceptable to receive such negligent service.
