The atmosphere was pleasant; however, the food was disappointing. To be brief, it was undercooked, tough, and overly sweet. The meat and fish were all served undercooked and lacked flavor. The lamb was tough and coated in a sweet sauce, the octopus was chewy and also drenched in a sugary sauce, and the scallops undercooked were prepared with a similarly sweet sauce. Even the cauliflower tasted like a sweet dessert due to its high fructose dressing. Maybe go there for drinks or if you really enjoy unhealthy food. Service hard to catch.

$300 meal for two people and only one of us was drinking. At that price point, I have high expectations. When we asked the server about the menu he said “are you familiar with Barcelona wine bar? We’re like them.” I can’t really imagine a worse set of words to use to describe a place that cost 100% more than Barcelona and is not 100% better. They sat us in the bar, despite having a reservation. The service was slow and distracted. We ended up paying with a QR code because we couldn’t get the server’s attention to bring us the check — they charged us $6 for using the QR code, lol. The food was good — and maybe if the front of house was better I would have given it four stars instead of three for the food, but it was not five star food. Wine list is mediocre. Not a great experience unfortunately.
