First restaurant I've eaten at in DC that left me wanting to come back. Everything from the service to the atmosphere to the food to the dessert to the cocktails. 3 of us shared 9 small plates and 2 desserts and tried 6 different cocktails. While everything was delicious, our favorites were the beef tataki, cauliflower gnocchi, duck dilemma and guava pork ribs, himachi tiradito and cocktails passion over perfection and not your average pina colada. Huge bonus is a lot of gluten free options (as well as vegetarian, dairy free, nut free) Can't wait to return!

Atmosphere & Service:
I’m really glad we chose to go to Seven Reasons. The interior is absolutely beautiful with lush florals and greenery surrounding the classic seating. As soon as we walked in, they kindly took our coats, which immediately elevated the experience. The service throughout brunch was attentive and accommodating, with our waiter making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
Food:
We came for brunch and ordered a couple of standout dishes. I started with the Venezuelan Crab Dip, made with Venezuelan jumbo lump crab, Chihuahua cheese, and served with house baguettes. It was rich, flavorful, and perfect for sharing!
I also ordered the Shakshuka with maitake-tomato ragu, two eggs, salsa criolla, and an arepa (without cheese and pork). The combination of flavors was bold and well-balanced and the arepa was a great addition for scooping up every bite.
Overall, the food was flavorful, beautifully presented, and satisfying. Between the stunning atmosphere, polished service, and creative brunch menu, Seven Reasons is definitely worth a visit in DC.

The food here is quite ordinary, and it’s pretty expensive for the lack of quality.

Daniel was excellent. The place has really great vibes. And the complimentary Butternut Squash Soup is chefs kiss. If I could take some home I would. Definitely will be back soon.

Great restaurant! I had been wanting to try it for a few years and it was worth it! Definitely recommend making a reservation as it fills up, especially on the weekend. Everything was fantastic and the staff helped make excellent recommendations. Everything was great and the ambiance is nice. It is conveniently located near a metro station so that is nice, too. It was really great and unique dishes that fused Asian and Latin flavors. Definitely recommend going with other people to share different dishes and try the cocktails, you will not be disappointed! There is also a handy QR code on the table that allows you to pay the check and split the bill among your party. We did not know that was how you paid the check but it was very convenient and just wanted to share so people can pay when they are ready/finished dining.
Funky spot with vibrant decoration, upbeat music and friendly knowledgeable servers really hit all the right notes for our date night. Highlights included the unique smoky cocktails, lamb lo mein, duck dilemma and hamachi ceviche. The pricing is high but you absolutely get your money's worth. Would definitely go back.
Best valentines dinner! Would come again, service was great, the Latin music background, very elegant
