The service here was great. The ambiance and decor is really lovely. The food was a huge disappointment.

We got the short rib for 2 and the short rib was mostly fat so much so we struggled to cut it. It was extremely unpleasant to try to eat. We went the short rib back and got the chicken and shrimp roulade and it was just OK, the chicken was pretty bland and the shrimp were very overcooked.
The carrot were meant to have a glaze but it was more of a soak the flavor was very overpowering.

The place is nice and in a great area but the food isn't worth a visit.

Came here for restaurant week for the three course pre fixe lunch. The place wasn’t busy so surprised at the service we received.

I informed the waitress that I had allergies and wanted to make sure the food I was ordering was ok. She let me know they could make accommodations to the food for my allergies and she’d inform the chef. When I got my first course, it was covered in an item that I informed them I have an allergy to. I had to wait a while for someone to come back so I could inform them and they promptly took it away and apologized. They brought out a new plate.

What was more appalling was for the second course I ordered, it came out and I guess had a hidden allergen in it. I was about to take my first bite, when a manager quickly came over and let me know either the kitchen forgot or had a mix up and to not eat my food bc it had an allergen. They said they would take care of the whole table (which I assumed meant comping our meals for the mishap - it was only 3 of us) however, they only gave 50% off. I’m concerned this place doesn’t take allergies seriously and for it to happen twice in a row is honestly inexcusable. Especially bc I was literally about to bite on to an item that could have killed me. Management should have comped our whole meal bc that level of negligence with an almost empty restaurant is not ok.

If you have allergies, please do not go here. I’m giving two stars only bc management resolved the food, however I would expect a high end restaurant of this kind to be better prepared.

Very good restaurant week lunch. Attentive and helpful service. Food was complex and very good. Good restaurant week value

My major gripes: Service fee of 5%—which is NOT a gratuity—please just raise your menu prices. Paid bill using a table QR code. Helpful and efficient but charged a $1 fee to pay the bill. Kind of feel that I’m being “nickled and dimed”—actually dollars to be able to have a decent meal. The staff made me feel welcomed, but the restaurant owners certainly didn’t. Not sure I would return under these conditions—too much upcharging!!
