A friend and I were just walking around DC and stumbled upon this restaurant. The decor was the first thing that got us. Once we got inside the warm welcome and smiles caused us to stay. We were given complimentary butternut squash soup, it was delicious! I ordered the Seven Reasons ceviche and I loved it! The purple sweet potato and crunchy pops of quinoa really stood out. Also, I got the Tropical Aperol Spritz cocktail, it was refreshing. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly staff was an added bonus. This was my first and I'll definitely visit again during my next trip to Washington DC.

Seven Reasons blew us away with top-notch service and mouthwatering dishes. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Each dish was described in great detail when it arrived at the table. Every bite was bursting with flavor, leaving us eager for more. The black rice with prawns and squid was our favorite. Ambiance was elegant and upscale. Definitely a spot to revisit for a delightful dining experience.
Celebrated a birthday dinner with 4 others on a Sunday evening. We had reservations and were seated right away in the back section of the first floor because it was quiet. Turns out the section was on the chilly and dark side compared to the entrance area near the bar. We asked to be reseated and were accommodated. Our server, Darwin, was attentive, friendly and informative. He explained our options and we went with the a la carte menu. We ordered dishes from each section of the menu, plus cocktails. The drinks were all outstanding! We chose:-Arepetas and Latin Falafel (Arepetas were fantastic)- Scallops with Curry and Pork Belly (both excellent though preferred the scallops)- Lamb and Duck (lamb was outstanding, duck was good)- Rice from the woods (wonderful!)It was plenty of food for 5 of us and we nearly licked the plates clean. It was an expensive meal, but worth it for a celebratory evening.Vegetarian options: There are good vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: We had someone in our party who was gluten-free and there was only one dish she couldn't eat.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level entrance with elevator for upper level seating.
