Best bakery in the Washington Metro area.

Owner or boss takes a lot of time to listen and communicate with customers on a personal level.

If you want to feel welcomed and to build a friendly relationship with a local shop. This is a good place to start

Seylou is delish!! We have tried an assortment of their breads, pastries, and coffees over the years and always leave happy! The staff is friendly and helpful, and their baked goods bountiful. Some favorites are the chocolate/almond croissant and the caprese sandwich. They also make an appearance at the Dupont circle farmers market on Sundays!

Great service ! They bake their selection in house which is awesome. They have a selection of pizza and sandwich options on Focaccia. I recommend visiting early to get a full selection of the morning pastries. They run out of options by 11am.

Only issue is that they sold out of almond croissants before we arrived!

As soon as I got in line there were 3 people in front of me that were talking about how they hardly ever come here because the prices. I should have hopped out of line right there. I ordered a cookie, meat egg crossant and a latte. The cookie and meat egg crossant was decent, the latte was good but really small. The price came out to a whopping $27. Thats insanity for a place where the food isn't good enough to brag about

Seylou Bakery is of DC's rare urban bakeries specializing in non-GMO products and baked goods. All of the baked goods are delicious and will leave you wanting more. The staff is dedicated to ensuring you feel welcomed and well taken care of.

Vegetarian options: The whole grain sourdough veggie pizza is a must-have when you crave pizza. The crust is soft with a slight crunch, sure to satisfy even the most discerning pizza connoisseur.

Dietary restrictions: As a vegan, appreciate bakery's impressive vegan baked pastries and specialized muffins that cater to my preferences. Pizza options surpass anything I have tasted. Indulge yourself and take in knowing that you are consuming wholesome food.

Friendly staff, delicious croissant with ham and cheese, great cappuccino and the best was their Rye bread! I brought a loaf home in Texas, where it’s difficult to find such good breads.
