I went late in the evening and it was dirty, loud, and crowded. Staff were working hard but took a long time to get food out and weren't really available to help if you needed something. Otherwise the food was good and staff were nice when you saw them.

the service here is disgusting. A worker spilled coke all over my friend on her birthday, basically dropped the drink in her lap with the lid insecure and didn’t even apologize or acknowledge it and proceeded to kick our other friend out of her seat.

I went before a concert and it was soooo packed. The cashier was friendly and was patient when taking our order. Food came out quickly and was hot. The shakes were nice and thick. The tables and trash were kinda messy, but given how many people were there...it can be hard to keep up.

The place was dirty. Service was basically Help Yourself. No ambiance, no nothing. It was basically a fast food place, but you should expect more when dining on The Wharf.

Kiosk ordering makes it easy, good options. Food tastes good. The chicken bites are quite small, could be better. Also, when adding lettuce to burger, get a small triangle shape, one piece.

Never been in a food store this hot!!! No AC, and I'm wondering if the customer side is this hot, how do the employees survive! Slow service and not that clean. However the sandwich tasted good although the burger bun was so small that it looked like a kids sandwich bun.
Needed to grab a bite to eat. We don't have one in our area so enjoyed it on the wharf. As always good food.

Upstairs was closed off, and no air conditioning on a 97° day in our nation's capital. It was my first shake shack experience, and the burger was worth it.

This Shake Shack is something else. I ordered in their App. I paid extra for crispy onions—no problem, they spotted that right away. But the free stuff? Shake sauce on the side? ketchup included? Completely ignored. All options clearly listed in their app, by the way. Not being a high-maintenance customer here—just expected them to read the whole ticket, not just the parts with dollar signs.

I’ve had the Dubai Chocolate Shake at three different locations, and unfortunately, the one I got at The Wharf was by far the worst. It looked nothing like what I’ve had before or what was advertised — I even posted a photo to show the comparison. I politely asked them to remake it, but the second version came out exactly the same with no improvement.
At this point, it seems like the staff either don’t know how to make it properly or they were out of key ingredients and didn’t mention it. Either way, it was disappointing. For something that’s usually a treat, this was a total letdown. I ended up asking for a refund — that’s how bad it was.
This location seriously needs a refresher on how to prepare the shake or should stop offering it until they can do it right.
