Shakers is an amazing queer space in DC with the best staff. The drinks are delicious, the space is beautiful, and everyone is so welcoming. It is the perfect place to host or attend events, and the drag shows are always so much fun. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful spot that supports our community.

I was introduced to Shakers by a really good friend, and I must say it didn't disappoint! I don't go to many clubs, but Shakers is definitely one that I keep on my rolodex and also where I recommend to visitors in town.
The music keeps you on the floor or at least doing a little shake where you stand. The staff are very accommodating and welcoming to guests, and the bartenders are unmatched! Good drinks, amazing drag shows, friendly environment... You can't go wrong!
Shakers is a safe space for me where I can truly go and be myself good music, good energy and a wonderful staff who makes you feel welcomed each time you walk into the building.
I stopped drinking in 2019 and felt like going to bars would be awkward and uncomfortable. Shakers non-alcoholic beverage menu shakes away those away feelings with a staff that’s welcoming and helpful to anyone who needs it I recommend this place to anyone that visits Washington D.C 10’s across the board
